Taco Mac

The service was adequate, except that I waited awhile for my salad, then the food came 2 minutes later. I got a burger and it wasn’t good. The garlic flavor was ridiculous, and I learned after I asked about it, that it was actually chives. But it was inedible. Drinks are way too overpriced too.

The Hollywood is back.

Wonderful customer service and great food! We had a problem with our wings being undercooked and the staff addressed the problem and made things right. We will be back for more family nights and beer!!!

If you’re looking for drinks and sports viewing, this is a great place with a great environment. A lot of beers on tap and TVs at all angles. The majority of the food is your typical greasy, American, but they do have a few healthier options.
I ordered the shrimp wrap. It didn’t look like much, but it was tasty and had a decent amount of shrimp.

Got the buffalo chicken sandwich and the bread was stale and sliced partially so everything fell out. Paid for a sandwich got a salad instead. Chips and dip never came out and had to get up and get our waiter. Wrap tasted bad. Like canned beans in a loose tasteless chicken wrap. Fries were stale too. Service was pretty bad and food was terrible. Never coming back ever and will never recommend to anyone else. Thanks for taking my money.

Outstanding service, awesome drinks, and a friendly atmosphere. Ask for Antonio he is GREAT! Never an empty drink and very attentive. I honestly would give the restaurant 4 stars and my server 6!

Taco Mac isn’t my go to, and really I only go with groups of friends. This particular Taco Mac, i’ve been to twice, and one of the reviewers mentioned consistency, or a lack of it, and i’d have to agree.
My last visit I got the Traditional Turkey burger with onion rings ($ 10 total). The onion rings came with a ranch dipping sauce, and they were pretty tasty. The turkey burger, while juicy, lacked flavor, and needed lots of condiments to save it.
Customer service during my first visit was kinda awesome, with a server who really had fun with all of us and was super cool/​chill. Customer service on my last visit was slow, rarely there and cut people off with his jokes… which weren’t funny to begin with
This Taco mac, like all others, is filled with TVs with the latest sporting event (s) on and if drinking is your thing, they have a massive selection that my friends go on and on about, but I don’t know much about (I don’t drink).
All in all, Taco Mac is a great place to go with a gang of friends… you just hope that you’ll get the good wait staff when you come.

I was in Suwanee for work, and this was one of the nearby restaurants. Service was quick and friendly. Food was about average, and perfectly serviceable for the price. Nothing in particular stood out as exceptional, so I don’t know if I’ll return, as I prefer to try out new and exciting places.

I want to so badly give this Taco Mac 5 stars but I just can’t. I’ve came here multiple times and some days the food is great, hot and fresh and a good portion. Then other days, the food is cold and small portions. It’s a hit or miss with the service, I’ve had some awesome servers at this location and some really awful ones.
This one night, I ordered cheese fries, that’s it. They took 45 mins to come out, they were cold and didn’t have cheese. Not to mention, there were about 10 pieces of fries on there. The server didn’t apologize about the wait, he barely checked on us. I asked for a refill twice, I never got it. I told the server I didn’t want the fries because they were cold and he just took them, he didn’t apologize or offer me anything else. He brought me a check and my fries were still on there… I asked to speak to the manager because at this point I’m really mad. The manager seemed nice, she apologized, took the fries of my check and even got me new fries (which were still cold, but I didn’t complain.) I saw her roll her eyes as she went to talk to someone and it looked like she was talking about us. Like I said, it’s a hit or miss with the service here and a hit or miss with the food as well.
Their flat bread is delicious, and I love that they have so many drink options.

I liked Taco Mac, on my visit to ATL. It is your equivalent i guess to Green Turtle or B dubs around these parts. I ordered the mix and match taco’s (shrimp, fish, flank steak) which were really good, and the wings were great. I will drop by here again when i drop by in the «A» again. The drink was weak hence the 4.

Service was wayyyyyyy off from the entrance to sitting at the bar. I guess because u wasn’t in a suit tonight I waited for service and the bar and a couple sat next to me after I waited 5 – 6 min to order and the fat Chick took the couples order and act as if I was invisible! I should’ve turned around when I was told at the door they were overwhelmed and the bar might take me. I’m not a damn orphan! Never again

Awful place to go to watch a college football game, much less any other sport. The staff noticeably rolled eyes and scoffed at asking to join two tables together. The waitress was unresponsive at best and to be frank, was a complete bitch. The bar staff was OK but they were out of a few Bacardi flavors and a handful of other beverages. I’d honestly give this place a zero star review if I could.

I wish I could give 3.5, as I would. They aren’t a 3, but they aren’t a 4 either.
Food is consistently inconsistent… meaning one night you’ll have a perfectly hot delicious meal, and two nights later you’ll have a tepid burger and cold fries… this area needs some work.
This location only has 50 taps as opposed to all other locations with 100. They do rotate their handles, but it seems like the same beers are always in and out, so there needs to be a little more variety.
Overall, they have solid eats and I do come here every Thursday for «pint night» where you order the beer of the month, and take home a nice pint glass.
Managers always come by to check on each table, which is nice.

All the servers are looking out for the customers and are ready to be of service. Bar tenders are great and ready. The greeters are the sweetest.

Our server, Catherine was the best part of our dining experience. The steak fajitas were mediocre; overcooked and lacking seasoning. The cheese was moldy. The soft drink and beer selection is incredible.

Taco Mac has been changing their menu and a plate settings so much and play around with their menu a lot, it feels like a new place every time I visit. It’s like a doubled edged sword; where I will feel like I am at a new restaurant, I also feel like I am ordering same dish all the time. Why bother when you try something and next time you go to eat that dish, they were ‘seasonal.‘
It’s a great place to get a wing though. Also, try a beer flight if it’s on the menu, for $ 9ish you get to try 4 samples from beer of the month or whatever special they have. ;)

Honestly I feel bad having to write this review because Taco Mac is one of my favorite restaurants, but I would be doing you a disservice if I didn’t share my experience. Tonight was one of the worst experiences that I’ve ever had in a restaurant. First, my husband ordered a salad with ranch. The salad came out with no utensils and it had blue cheese instead of ranch (my husband HATES blue cheese). We told our server and he said that he would take it back. I told him not to worry about it, that I would eat it instead. Later he returned and told us that the cook said that we were lying, that he had given us ranch, not blue cheese. I politely assured the server that it was blue cheese and pointed out the blue cheese chunks. Another server came and confirmed that it was indeed blue cheese. However, our server felt the need to show the cook and proceeded to take my plate and stick his fingers in it to taste it, despite the fact that I was telling him that I still wanted to eat the salad. Nevertheless, he took my salad and later told me that the cook was too busy to look at it. Instead he brought my husband a replacement salad (this time with ranch) but the salad was half the size of the first one. My husband mentioned it to the server and the server confirmed that he also noticed how small it was. The server said that he had brought it to the cook’s attention and that the cook said that a lot of people had been ordering that particular salad and that was why is was so small. My husband, son, and I had also ordered wings with extra ranch. When I wings came out they were lukewarm to the touch. My husband sent his wings back, as hot wings should be… well, HOT. I’ve eaten at Taco Mac, although not at this particular location, more times than I can remember and I’ve NEVER received lukewarm wings. Most wings that order are so hot that I have to request a fork to eat them. My husband waited patiently with my daughter, whose food didn’t come out until long after ours, as my son and I ate our lukewarm wings (minus the extra ranch I ordered). Finally, our server brought my husband a new plate of wings… that were lukewarm AGAIN. Then the server brought my daughter’s food, which was hot, but he never brought a straw for her drink so we had to ask another server. Then I ordered a drink for myself and I didn’t get a straw either. Not that a straw is such a big deal, but by this point, every little thing was setting me off. My husband was completely disgusted and told the server to take back the lukewarm wings. Finally the bill came and we had been charged for the second salad that the server had stuck his fingers in and taken back AND a chocolate milk that was supposed to come with my daughter’s kids meal.
Thinking that I really didn’t want to write a review and dog out Taco Mac (because, in general, I DO love Taco Mac), I decided to speak with the manager on duty. Although it felt good to get it off my chest, I really got the impression that he could care less.
Maybe this was a one time thing, but I had a HORRIBLE experience at the Suwanee Taco Mac location today. My advice, try another location.

We were part of a larger party (8) dining here on a Friday at around 5:45 p.m. Service was good. Everyone found acceptable entrees, including the vegetarians. I had a flatbread with roasted apples and goat cheese. Overall, this was pretty good. I had not been to a Taco Mac in 5+ years but will now consider going back again.

I don’t expect originality from franchise resturants; I do, however, expect consistency. Unfortunately, this Taco Mac lacks both. For the tens of times I have been here, the experience has always been different and not in a good way.
The wings and fries I got were overcooked in this case. Having tasted how awesome Taco Mac wings can taste like, it can be quite a disappointment to realize it’s overcooked. This Taco Mac is great for catching games with your buds, but food is always the center for me. Unless I’m catching the NBA finals with my group of friends, you won’t find me in this Taco Mac.
If it wasn’t for my kind and friendly waiter, this place would’ve received a mere two stars. (Thank you David for suggesting half/​half for 6 piece wings! Did not know that before)

I absolutely love this place. My friends and I are here almost about all the time! It is close by and has an amazing selection of liquor, beers and mix drinks. It also has great food. We love getting the wings, sweet potato fries, fish & chips, nachos all the way, & calamari. They recently have added the fish & chips, and calamari. One night, they had Johnny Walker specials for $ 10! Amazing. Also, on Thursday, if you order beer, it comes in a boot and you can take it home. The atmosphere is amazing and they close late. I am going to be a Taco Mac girl forever.
