Food tasted like it was frozen food warmed up… shrimp was terrible and the Mac and cheese tasted old like it had been warmed up several times. Place was empty on a Friday night and they sat me by a very noisy kitchen. Employees sounded like they were having a party in there. Would never go back!

Under New Ownership-Terrible service! –Bad food! I was served a terrible tasting food item, I brought it to the attention of the restaurant owner. We were charged an open food fee for sending back the inedible, unappetizing food back! Unbelievable! Here is a lesson in customer service: Your«open food fee» just bought you a bad review, several lost customers and a brand new reputation for your new business model!!!

Love this chicken! Great texture. Good crunch. Haven’t been here in years but it’s still the same. Good sides as well.

Tanners knows how to do fried chicken fingers. The tasty honey mustard and various sides have been a staple in my duet for over 30 years. I’m don’t know much about their other dishes but for the occasional chicken finger. Tanners is a great option.

The waitress was perfectly nice, but my tea sat empty for almost 10 minutes before she noticed. The food was extremely hot when it came out, so that was good. Doubtful we’ll be going back — especially since I could have had twice as much food at a chain restaurant(Chili’s, Applebee’s, etc) for the same price.

It’s been a few years, and the place is unfortunately still here. I am getting my oil changed a few doors over, so I decided to pop in for a quick lunch. I specifically asked if sugar was in the coke slaw. I was told no, it’s just mayonnaise. It tastes awfully sweet for a mayonnaise based slaw with no sugar. I asked if the green beans were steamed or boiled, and I was told steamed. I was brought beans that were obviously boiled. The chicken had zero flavor. I guess they rely on fools using the sauce they bring out with the food. It was, of course, loaded with sugar… So I couldn’t eat it. I ate the beans and plain flavorless chicken because I needed to eat something and the only other places that would be fast would be pizza hut or subway. If I weren’t focused on eating low carb right now, I would have left and gone to one of them. I will easy at Waffle house next time. The food has far better flavor, the staff knows what they are serving, and I can get pork chops that are tender and juicy and flavorful without the help of sugar.

The best comfort food around. The chicken and stuffing dish is awesome. My personal favorite is the rotisserie chicken with their amazing creamed spinach. They have awesome deserts too. Can’t go wrong eating here. Always a favorite.

Alright yall I’m gonna tell it like it is: there are 100% better restaurants out there, but to read reviews of people throwing away entire portions of food-what on earth were your expectations to begin with? Tanners in Suwanee is an independently owned restaurant that has been in its same location since the 80s(you read it on their floor mat as soon as you come in), and yes it could use some updates on interior décor, but as far as I’m concerned I’m there for the food. As a salad lover, theirs are great-and HUGE. Definitely worth the $ 10 price tag, plus lots of toppings. The chicken fingers are also huge, get them extra crispy-they’re even better. As far as the wings are concerned-go to wild wing café or Buffalo’s down the road. Not bad but there are better options. Tanners is a «BBQ» place, and their pork and pulled rotisserie chicken is up to par with what I expect from a locally owned business. The ribs ARENOTBABYBACKRIBSLIKECHILISSOTHEYARESMALLER. Honestly, the menu has SO many choices it’s easy for anyone to find something they like-including my mom who is so picky. Their desserts are actually from a local bakery down the street, not Sysco. I had an entire conversation with my server about them and she was very well informed-college aged, but seemed to have been there longer than the other girls. The Oreo ice cream pie though is homemade and it’s everything and more to any Oreo lover. My recommendations? The chicken on rice, finger or grilled salad, the chicken finger platter(you can get them buffalo style), rotisserie melt(bacon, bbq, cheese and pulled chicken on a croissant-yum), and strangely their fried pickles. They’re the long stacker pickles as opposed to the chips which I find I enjoy more. Best side options include their sweet potato waffle fries, Mac n cheese, and stir fry. It’s not the cheapest place, similar to Chili’s, but if you’re like me and live on the opposite side of Suwanee town center, this is one of the few sit down restaurants we have. I would give it a try before knocking it down due to others opinions.

I enjoyed this place very much. The food was so good. Most definitely will be coming back here when I’m in town. Reasonably priced, and nice staff. Food came out really quick too !

We are in the Suwanee Duluth area have not been in several years my husband loves their chicken chose a treat to go back for him. He loves their chicken strips which are unbelievably white fresh chicken and he insisted perfectly cooked. I ordered the deluxe cheeseburger and ordered it medium rare. I really enjoyed it. I go for medium rare so that the meat is tender and juicy so was very happy to read on the menu that the bone was toasted… This allows the meeting at the penetrate the bun and make it soggy! We went on a Saturday afternoon and hope to see some more big TVs… But were entertained by all the kids that were there from a soccer game, volleyball game in the baseball game! Lots of activity and lots of happy kids made for a nice afternoon lunch!

Don’t waste your time or money on this place. Me and my husband dined here last night at about 7:30pm on a Saturday night. My husband said that this place was supposed to be similar to Roaster’s Rotisserrie Chicken. There were 3 other tables sat at the time. Our server came pretty quickly. She was a young high school kid so we knew what the service was going to be like. She took our drink order. I ordered water without lemon annd my husband ordered a sweet tea. It was not sweet. I also ordered a cup of their«family recipe» Brunswick Stew. My husband ordered ribs with mashed potatoes and maccaroni and cheese. I ordered a cheeseburger well done with fries. This place yells cheap and tacky. The menus and décor The menus are in orange and yellow text that reminds me of an arcade, not chicken rotisserrie restaurant. They looked so cheap and are in low quality resolution. The brand of moist towelettes were cheap. The seating booths looked refurbished. There’s a tacky hand-painted mural on the wall of Suwannee that does not fit in with the theme of the restaurant at all. They play country music in this place which reminds me why we don’t dine at Buffalo’s anymore. The music just doesn’t go with the Rotisserrie Chicken theme. The Food This place is not Roaster’s Rotisserrie, a place that me and my husband dine at frequently. Tannner’s is a step-cousin to Roaster’s. The cornbread muffins tasted like they came staight from a box of Jiffy. They were so cold that spreading butter on them made them crumble. The butter that they were served with was also cheap. The food was very bland. I sent the Brunswick Stew back because it was very watery. Brunswick Stew is supposed to be stew, not soup. It was thin and lacked flavor. Folk’s has better Brunswick Stew than this. Me and my husband were disappointed that we left Marlow’s Tavern(The wait was too long) for Tanner’s. We should’ve gone to Chili’s or Applebee’s or taken our chances at one of the unknown thai or Chinese food restaurants nearby instead. If you’re thinking about dining at Tanner’s try Ippolito’s, Marlow’s Tavern, Carabba’s, or Fronterra’s instead.

Love the chicken tenders! Sides were big portions. Brought my husband and he was impressed with food too! Kind of hard to get in the parking lot, had to make a turn. There wasn’t a lot of people coming in the restaurant so we sat down quickly and food came out quick. The only negative thing I have to say is the décor is outdated. Service was nice. I would recommend.

Not worth the time or money. Not terrible, not great. The all you can eat fish-n-chips is tasteless. All you can eat comes quickly. I’m 52 and my wife is 50, getting carded by a teenybopper for our pitcher of Yuengling is not amusing either. I’m not the most P.C. person around, like Neal Boortz, I prefer common sense. They now give you a child’s portion of fish(fish sticks in this case 3 of them) and you have to ask for more. After quite a time you get 2 more. Again tasteless and in need of seasoning. The chicken tenders are still a safe bet.

I have grown up visiting the various Tanner’s locations in Atlanta with my family. I got really excited when I realized there was one in Suwanee right down the street. Took my boyfriend here for dinner and I was slightly disappointed. Although I cannot say this location was bad… It was not great compared to the other locations I’ve visited. The Chicken Lips are one of my favorite things to eat ever and they came out overcooked. The taste was there but the egg roll was so crunchy it changed the whole dish. The chicken tenders and Mac and cheese were good. The Mac and cheese is a must no matter which location you visit. The service was good, but it was weird to be the ONLY person sitting in the bar. I get nervous about the establishment when no one is there early Sunday evening. Overall not a horrible experience but if there is another location just as close or even just a little further you may want to check that one out. My favorite is the location in South Forsyth… Rick Tanner’s!

I love their chicken lips. They are my favorite appetizer. Their rotisserie chicken is good but I don’t recommend their rotisserie chicken sandwich. It has bones in it and there is a warning in the menu of this. Why they don’t pull the chicken off and make sure there are no bones is weird. Other than that, I like everything else I’ve had on their menu. Their honey mustard sauce is phenomenal!

Love the chicken here. The breading is light and crispy and my chicken is never greasy. It’s always super juicy and the serving sizes are enormous. I’ve had the chicken finger platter and chicken finger salad and the dishes are ALWAYS consistent and delicious. Highly recommend this place if you want some quality fried chicken that doesn’t weigh you down!

Saw the outside. Looked promising. Was so disappointed. I swear, you could buy rotisserie from Costco or even Publix. I ordered the dark meat and it just wasn’t tasty.
