OK, I have used Vision a couple of times for business travel, and have had no problems. I haven’t ever been delayed, but i understand how they could have problems when they do have a delay. They don’t have the number of planes that Delta or American does. If you fly regularly, you have probably also been stranded by one of the Major Airlines and spent the night in ATL or Dallas or Chicago? The flight crew was courteous, the counter staff at VPS and PIE have always been courteous. The reservation line was sympathetic and helpful when I was traveling for a funeral, so I am not sure about the customer service woes reported by others. Give them a chance.

I booked a trip from Ft. Walton Beach to Vegas. When I arrived at the airport, i was notified the plane would be 11 hours late. Since Vision Airlines is small and has not affiliations with other airlines, they could not offer us tickets on other airlines. We were given a pitiful $ 10 voucher for an 11 hour wait in the airport. When I contacted their reservation office, they just did not seem to care. I inquired about a refund and the agent stated he would call me back, but I never heard from him. Since they contract out the gate agents, the gate agents were useless. This is a small airline that is very unorganized with very old planes. They do not have a clue what they are doing in the commercial airline travel industry and I did not feel safe flying with them. They should stick to charters, as I believe they are not capable of making the improvements needed to stay in business.
