This is a new authentic korean restaurant that opened up in Suwanee, Ga. They serve your typical korean dishes(kimchi stew, seafood stew, stir fries with fish, beef, shicken, etc) with fresh veggies and meat, made to order! They even serve teriyaki items for you non-adventurous people. The owners are so friendly, you feel like a friend/family whenever you visit(even if it’s your first time). The chef(one of the owners) has worked in the restaurant business for over 25 yrs and her husband, who was a DJ in Korea, now hosts a korean radio station(1040AM) that plays all the famous pop tunes from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. He incorporates this in the theme of their restaurant. When you walk in, you can’t help but to notice all the old VINYLRECORDS(when was the last time you saw one of those?!) lined up wall to wall! Feel like having a drink or two after a long day’s work? They serve beer and korean rice wine… Feel like belting out a couple songs while drinking? They have a private karaōke room big enough for 10 – 15 people! This place has it all! Booze, GREATFOOD, great music, and great atmosphere! Wanna know a little secret? Order enough food and drinks and they’ll throw in a little extra side dish… or even a main dish for free! Trust me, if you like Korean food and you’re tired of the«not so friendly» staffs at other places… Yak Sok is the place for you! They PROMISE(Yak Sok means PROMISE in Korean)!!!
