Unique Grounds Cafe

This restaurant was an amazing find! The menu, quality, & taste is what you would expect to find at a trendy city bistro… delish! My husband and I found this place on our way to the Masters; we were visiting from CA.
The food was superb. Everything is cooked fresh to order. I had a fresh berry, chicken & feta salad with raspberry vinaigrette (very CA bistro)…amazing! My husband had the pimento bacon burger with homemade potato chips. This burger was fresh ground sirloin about 2″ thick; so juicy, with homemade pimento cheese & thick apple bacon. I couldn’t stop taking bites!
I wish they were open for dinner. Unfortunately only open for lunch. The staff is also very friendly and efficient. The food took a little longer because it is all freshly prepared and cooked when you order. So of course it takes a few minutes longer, no big deal. Definitely worth the wait!!!
If we are ever back in that area we will eat here again!

Had to wait a long time for food, had one of the wraps with fries. The wrap was ok, but the fries were very greasy and had an odd (not good) taste. Then tried the chewy cake for dessert, did not like it either, was so dry and hard. Will not be going back,

Located next to the Bradford Best Western, Unique Grounds is an oasis in a town without many culinary options. The owner Sarah and her team are fantastic and take great care of their customers. Many options on tbe menu include traditional staples and interesting spins on favorites. i went for «Cranberry’s Burger» — 6oz Black Angus stuffed with spinach and feta and then topped with red onion, tomatoes and an excellent herb mayo all inside a spinach wrap. It was awesome!
Open since February 2014; hopefully residents, college students at nearby East Georgia and travelers will take notice and frequent this place! I will be back.
