Stones rocks and walls The Old Burial Ground is sometimes called the Town Hall Cemetery, probably because it is located right behind the town hall. Actually the graveyard was here first because the lovely town hall was built in 1890 and most of the graves in the cemetery are much older than that. The old cemetery is small and has lots of very cool stone walls surrounding it and some trees and bushes actually growing right among the gravestones. Gives it a very rustic feel. Virtually all of the graves were from the 1800s but I did see a few from the 1700s and of course several were impossible to read and probably much older. A small, strange little graveyard that is located right behind the stunning Swansea Town Hall and some pleasant hiking trails. A great place to see lots and lots of rocks and walls.
