One of the greeters harasses me. He’s white with brown hair and winks at me, makes fart noises at me, and sticks his tongue out. It seriously pisses me off. I try to ignore him and he still does it.

Food pricing is good but stick wit the prepackaged items. Their meats and produce are not up to snuff.

Maybe it’s unfair to review this store when construction is going on for the new Super WalMart to replace it, but some of my issues have nothing to do with that. I have to say, Ray C. Is right on. I avoid this store like the plague. Give me the one in Seekonk any day. The greeting I received the other day was a bit ridiculous. It was shouted out at me, but the greeter wasn’t even looking at me. After observing for a bit, I realized this is the norm. This WalMart is smaller than all of the others in the area. If they do carry what you are looking for, there is a good chance in will be out of stock. The merchandise is always sloppy and the workers certainly don’t go out of their way to be helpful. Do yourself a favor and drive 10 minutes further to the one in Seekonk. You won’t be subjected to having«Thanks for shopping at WalMart» screamed in your general direction on the way out the door.

You ever get that«good lord WTH am I doing here» feeling as your walking up to a business? Well if you do, I can SO relate! This is the feeling I get every time I am forced to come to this particular Walmart. I usually travel to the super Walmart in Raynham, but with Swansea only about 15 minutes from me, Raynham isn’t always a practical and convenient option for me. First off, you gotta love Walmart greeters. They have one sole purpose while on the clock. one whole responsibility. To greet customers when they walk in and to thank them for shopping there as you exit. Well I think that upper management needs to take a look at their training model, well at least for this store for the«greeter position.» I’m telling you every time I come here, I say to myself, I wonder what kind of pathetic greeting I will get this time, that is, if I get a verbal greeting at all. Perhaps the greeters at this Walmart are mutants and they are telekinetic. Maybe they are talking to me with their mind and, well I have no super powers so I can’t hear their funny little voices in my head. I know that sounds far fetched, so I am inclined to believe that greeting customers is not part of the job description. But sometimes, you will get a «welcome to Walmart» in the most miserable, depressing tone I have ever heard. You know they are really saying«welcome to Walmart. Get your f’n $hit and get out!» Come on, you know that’s what you really hear them saying. Wow I just wrote a whole paragraph on the greeters lack of being able to property greet customers. Anyways, this Walmart is pretty morbid. They never seem to keep their shelves stocked well, the atmosphere screams«can we make your shopping experience any more depressing?» and the employees are really not that pleasant to deal with. The parking lot, much like the rest of the Swansea Mall parking lot is like driving through an obstacle course of pot holes. I didn’t even want to take any pictures of this place for Unilocal because quite frankly, I don’t want to subject my fellow Unilocalers to this utter disgrace of sloppiness. With that fresh new Target just a few minutes away, if you don’t have to come to this Walmart, DON’T!
