Swan Lake Grocery

This store is an institution, a serious player in my childhood memories. It is the only grocery store for miles, handy to the exceedingly rural surrounding area, and the perfect stop for an ice cream treat after a day on Swan Lake.
Swan Lake Grocery is somewhere between a grocer and a traditional general store. They do an amazing job of carrying almost everything you might want. You can grab some fried chicken fingers and jojos to go and wash it down with a whoopie pie, or you can grab some fresh produce and quality butcher shop offerings and whip up something tasty for dinner. A substantial beer, wine and liquor selection, a dedicated lottery checkout, and snacks and sweets galore. They even have Stone Fox Farm Creamery ice cream… YUMMY! Gas up at their station across the road.
As their signage has historically stated, «The Best Buy a Dam Site.»
