Great place and great haircuts! Lin has been cutting my hair for years so for your next cut ask for Lin!

Was just in this Sunday morning (because it’s impossible to find a barber open on Sunday) and had the pleasure of getting a fresh cut from Bobby, who taught me more about getting my hair cut the way I liked than anyone has before. Bobby really took his time and explained how to style my new Prohibition cut to make it work best. Clearly a very talented guy with a passion for the art of barbering. I have been to a few other nearby shops with hit or miss experiences but the attention to detail I received at Swarthmore Barber Shop may have made me a customer for life. Really looking forward to my next cut.

So I never do this, but since I was so pleasantly surprised by the service I received at Swarthmore Barbershop, I will. So here goes nothing.
I walked in the front door, and was immediately greeted by Kris (owner/​barber) with a smile. Since there was no one there when I arrived, she was able to start my cut right away. While cutting my hair, Kris gave me a little insight into how she became a barber; which was an interesting story about the lineage and coincidences that brought her to where she is today. I told Kris that I wanted to try something new, and she pulled it off flawlessly. She even gave me a small tutorial on how to style my hair with this particular cut. I am extremely pleased with the service/​product that I received at Swarthmore Babershop, and at only $ 14, you cant beat the price! I look forward to many more cuts at this barbershop.
P. S.: The straight razor cleanup was also a nice touch to put Kris’ shop in a class of its own. I didn’t bother to tell her, but that was the first time I had allowed anyone to get near me with one of those things! LOL

I have been to the Swarthmore Barbershop since the new owner, Kristin has taken over 3 times. Here are my quick thoughts.
