I’m here every week and the locals rock. JT’s pumps our a killer breakfast fast and the blue gill on Fridays is the best fish fry around. Keep it up… I’m hungry

We had a fabulous breakfast on our way to Chicago stopping at this cute country diner in this small Michigan town of Swartz Creek. Our server couldn’t have given us any better service. My husband and I both had the bacon and cheese omelet which came with a generous portion of hash browns and a side of your favorite toast. I had the cinnamon raisin bread which was delicious. We took half our meal with us to eat at a later time.

Simple little place with good home style cooking :) tons of regulars and the kind of place where everyone that goes there knows each other. Their coffee is actually really good :) I ordered the hash browns o’brian with onions and green peppers, a side of bacon and rye toast. I’m very pleased with my breakfast and I’d come back anytime I’m in the area :)

If you need a home-cooked meal and have a liking for diner ambiance, you really can’t beat this place in downtown Swartz Creek. Breakfast is great. Besides the usual eggs and sausage cooked just the way you like them, you can get the best special pancakes and gooey thick slices of just made cinnamon toast. The baked oatmeal is more than you can eat and absolutely delicious. The specials for lunch(it’s open to 3:00 pm everyday except Friday when it’s open til 6:00(?)) are from Mom’s or Grandma’s kitchen if they were great cooks. Desserts are homemade and, well, you can’t go wrong. The coffee is really good and it keeps coming. Try this small town diner out and you’ll come back.
