I have to give this place 5 stars because I have only ever had the best experiences when I have visited. Chef Mimo has had a few other places which I have also visited, they all have the same vibe and similar food choices. They offer a pretty large variety on their menu, however I only seem to get one the same 5 dishes each time. I have also used A’Pizze for a large party which was flawless. They couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful to make the party successful. Some personal menu favorites are: Tortellini Sienna, Potato Gnocchi, Maccheroni Al Forno and Chicken Parm. The only thing I’ve had that I wouldn’t suggest is the Lobster Bisque.

Came in for dinner on a Monday night. The restaurant seemed busy as we waited to be seated. Apparently they were hosting a painting party in the back section of the restaurant. Service was courteous but extremely slow perhaps due to the event. We ordered the spaghetti with crabmeat and grilled chicken sandwich. The grilled chicken sandwich to my surprise was in club form but overall was average. The pasta with crabmeat was very skimpy on the crab topping! For an extra $ 7, you would think you’d get a little more than a pinch of crab. Restaurant atmosphere was good especially with all the string lights at night. May try this restaurant again but will not get the crabmeat pasta dish.

Great little addition to the shopping center I used to frequent. The food smells amazing as soon as you step out of the car. We came here with a large group last Wednesday night. The accommodated the reservation well in advance as well. The biggest downsides were two things 1.) no liquor license. 2.) the waitress took 1 drink order at a time and would keep running to the back. It also was frustrating when something would be on the menu and not available. I ordered the vodka sauce pizza with chicken and arugula — minus the tomato chunks. The personal size was HUGE and amazing. I didn’t get past half the pizza! Easily the size for 2 people and came with 6 generous slices. The other people In my group ordered salmon, steak, and pasta mainly and most people like it. Overall a lot of food. Not bad, I would come back again to see how consistent they are.

Excellent, delicious pizza and fantastic, fast service. Don’t skip the bread roll dipped in the herb flavored oil– a delight! The desserts look exquisite but I have yet to try them. All the meals I saw served while I was here looked mouthwatering.

Umm… The coleslaw was good. Otherwise, not worth the stop. $ 4 for a plastic bottle of tea that you can get from a vending machine for $ 1. The quality of food for the price was disappointing.

Very disappointed in everything except the food. We had reservations for 7 at 7:30. Our meals came out one at a time and our last meal was served at 9:35!!! We didn’t even have a meal together! Very very disappointed!!! Poorly planned! And only offered free dessert! Not sure I’d go back. N

Visited my friends in this quiet township and my friend Glo recommended this authentic Italian restaurant. Let me tell you… food was DELISH!!! Jill was our server and started our course with warm buttery bread! We ordered the trio appetizer which included crispy calamari, stuffed mushrooms amd mozzarella sticks oh it was sooooo good! Next I had the succulent lobster bisque with large chunks of lobster and it was the BESTLB that I’ve ever tasted in my entire life!!! Sweet Jesus, I could have eaten a whole pot of it!!! I was stuffed but had already ordered the crab cake pasta and talk about RICH! First of all, the portion size was huge so it made for wonderful leftovers the next day. Jill was very accommodating, non annoying and knowledgeable. This place doesn’t serve alcoholic beverages BUT you can bring your own bottles so we brought in wine, which they de-corked for us and it was the perfect pairing for the outstanding dishes! It’s definitely on my revisit list upon my return to Swedesboro! Food is phenomenal!

Went here with a few friends and have to say the food was not good the Caesar salad for $ 13 was the size of a side Caesar and tasted like it came out of a bag with bagged croutons. The Margherita pizza had no flavor at all and the calamari was chewy. The service was slow and it’s no secret the waitress wasn’t wearing secret. #BO

The food in all honesty was above average, but the quality and speed of the service was the worst I have ever experienced. Waitress had no idea what was in any of the dishes, and did not offer to find out. We had a large party and expected to wait a little for some things, but we waited 15 minutes for them to bring the check and another 15 for them to split it between two cards. Very poor service, we still tipped 20% because we had a large party, but I will most likely not go to this place again.

We have been here several times, including my husbands surprise birthday party. The food is always outstanding and the staff always go out of their way to assure that all is well. Gotta love a BYOB.

These are hands down the best pizza pies in Swedesboro. The margherita and parma pizzas are especially great. If only the prices were a little less steep, it’d be a more plausible take-out option.

My baby shower was recently held at A’Pizze and I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! All of the guests commented on the delicious food and the great service. They were very accommodating during the entire shower and some of the servers even helped guests carry in the heavier gifts. They went above and beyond and we couldn’t have been happier. My husband and I have also gone to dinner here a few times and we loved the atmosphere at night. We would definitely recommend this restaurant for an event, or just for a nice date night out!

Came here for a lunch meeting. Excellent server, but the food I had was unimpressive. I ordered the Chicken Pesto Pizza. The personal size was huge. There were so many cold tomatoes on it that it was cold. The pesto sauce was drizzled sparingly so that it was dry. The dough was tough and like eating cardboard. Disappointing.

We were here for the first time last night. We started off with the calamari appetizer which was very well cooked. The batter stays attached to the calamari instead of falling off like lesser offers I’ve had in the past at other restaurants. The two sauces that came along complemented the dish nicely. For our entrées I had Pork loin special and my girlfriend had a chicken special. Both meals tasted far above other local restaurants. Both dishes were very flavorful and filling. The décor of of restaurant felt warm and welcoming. It provides an Italian feel with out being tacky that happens far too often at restaurants of this type. The waitress we interacted with was very friendly and was able to tell us detailed descriptions of the specials. It’s nice to see someone taking their job seriously and being attentive to our table during a busy Friday night. We recently moved to this area and have been trying local restaurants and have finally hit gold with one. We can’t wait to come back again.

We went here a couple days ago and opted to sit outside, which as it turns out, wasn’t any warmer than it was inside(not sure, maybe they were having A/C troubles). The service outside was a little slow at first, but our server seemed like she may be new… The food came out and was pretty good, but the level/speed of service continue to degrade, significantly; nearly 15 minutes elapsed from the time the credit card was handed over to the time that WE tracked down the server and got it back. End result: I would consider returning here for take out, maybe, but I wouldn’t consider eating on location again. *To whom it may concern at this restaurant: you most definitely need to revamp the training program/timeline for your servers, starting out by not putting them on their own until they’re comfortable and know what to do, because this girl certainly did not.

We had the Nona special pizza, which was very good. Service met my expectations. My wife had the cod, which was also good. There was nothing spectacular about our visit, but a solid experience. We had the clams casino appetizer special, which was spectacular. If they are offering that, be sure to get it — you won’t be disappointed. Also, my son left his iPod on the table. Extra kudos to the entire staff that they had secured it in a safe place and that my son was able to retrieve it 90 minutes later — faith in humanity restored.

A’Pizze took over the former location of Barone Tuscan Grill, and I’m so-so glad. In college, I may or may not have written a scathing review of Barone in the student newspaper shortly before it closed. Luckily, A’Pizze is nothing like its predecessor, aside from the type of food they offer. Definitely try the chicken parm. I love that they offer salad wedges with bacon and creamy dressing for no added cost.
