Came here to try the Krispy Crème burger and I was blown away! Not only by the crazy burger that some how in a odd way works but their fries are amazing and the dipping sauces. They also have a great beer selection which is always a plus! This will become my to go place for a good burger and beer Cons: They take forever to bring out your food. So don’t come in a hurry or like I did with my 3 year old. I love the food and will be back again but be ready to sit and enjoy a beer or two before your meal.

It was the«Review of the Day» restaurant and I live 5 minutes away, so I decided it was a cosmic sign and that it would be the perfect time to try it out. Lets start with the good: The service was excellent. Yes, the restaurant was half empty but I live in Miami, where you could be the only client and still be ignored. Our server was super attentive, outgoing and answered any questions we had. She made herself accessible without hovering over us, which was great. The sweet potato fries dipping sauce was not overwhelmingly sweet and had a very distinct flavor. The presentation was very nice for what seems to be a low key restaurant. HUGE screens, perfect for watching any games. The Ehhh: The food is not what I expected. I mentioned before that I am not a huge burger lover, so I went with someone who was and ordered other stuff as well. The burgers were ok. Nothing out of this world and not memorable enough for me to even remember what was on them. I do remember being super disappointed with the regular fries(Fries are my thing!), although the sweet potato ones were a bit better. We had chicken tenders as an appetizer and while they were good, they needed a little more kick and crisp. I will definitely go again, but with lower expectations.

4.5 This is what I’m talkin’ ’bout. Abandon all hope, ye who wish to remain skinny. At A&G, this is not a game. You come here to get a serious eat & drink on. In fact, I might be so bold as to say, establishments like A&G is what Unilocal’s all about. This is a mom & pop shop located outside of the major traffic areas of South Beach, Brickell & Wynwood. They just do their thing and do it well. Good word of mouth follows and so does success, more customers and dolla dolla bills. If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out. The only factor that keeps this from being a 5-star review is the service. Perhaps because it’s a mom & pop shop… perhaps because it went from 0 to 60 relatively fast… perhaps because it’s still located in Miami-Dade… I don’t know. But come here and expect to wait a bit to be served. Your order might not come all at once(if eating with other people). Your order might be wrong. They might be out of the beer you want. Your server might not know the beer you want. All of these things might happen and I still feel confident giving this place 4.5. Why? Here’s why: 1.) Beer. They take it seriously. Granted, getting a complete list is a chore(we were told there isn’t one) but after looking at the chalk boards, perusing the specials and asking enough questions, odds are you’ll find a bottle to suit your fancy. I came in looking for ambers and ambers I found. It’s a bit of a seek ‘n find but it’s worth the effort. A&G is definitely ahead of the beer curve in Miami. They get points for that. 2.) Burgers. As has been mentioned many times, I am not a beef guy. Here, you don’t have to be. Yes, the beef burgers look incredible and are as big as your head, but A&G shows love to the bird eaters, too. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. First off, it was huge. It was a two-hander type of sandwich and I have big paws. Ready for the sandwich description? FRIED chicken. Garlic-infused buffalo sauce. Gouda cheese. Lettuce. Tomato. Butter-toasted brioche bun. Blue cheese dressing. Oh, and I ordered the sandwich with a side of truffle fries. Open up because you might need to unhinge your jaw to take all that food in in one bite. Magnificent. 3.) Brownie Explosion. I could and should leave it at this… but I can’t. Check the business listing. Find my picture. Look at how big this bad boy is. I took it down solo. No regrets. The thing is as big as a platter and is filled from side to side. The brownie takes up almost the entirety of the plate. On top of that is chocolate sauce, caramel, vanilla ice cream, chocolate ice cream, whipped cream, nuts, chocolate chips, and oreo pieces. You might balk at the $ 8 price tag… and then you see the thing. Lesser men have run and hid. This ain’t no place for the weary kind.(Wo)Man up. You’re in Sweetwater.

This weekend has been burger heaven for me, and I found this hidden away spot thanks to my friend Michelle L. Thanks for convincing me to drive to Sweetwater /Wecheste :) for a tasty brunch. We started off with their Chicken and Waffle sliders. Served with chicken and bacon on a traditional egg waffle, the sweet of the maple sauce blends well together with the savory chicken. The pockets in the waffle are also lathered with a cheese sauce that adds a flavorful surprise. Next up for me was their 50⁄50 burger with a sweet BBQ sauce and gouda cheese. Why 50⁄50? How does an applewood bacon patty coupled up with a medium well beef patty sound? Hungry yet? Mine hit the spot to the point that I had no room for dessert. Actually I had space for their spicyyy with a triple y buffalo fries. Buffalo fries as in a generous lather of Buffalo sauce over crispy fries. Wash it down with a pear cider like I did and you’re good to go. Side note: the wait for your food can be a little long and the appetizers were brought at the same time as the burgers, but in the grand scheme of things it’s a minor inconvenience. Chit chat with a good friend and you’re all good.

Yummmmm! This is a hidden gem. I love coming here, they have the best duck wings and burgers I’ve ever had. I love the ambience and the waiters all seem to treat you like family. Also the beer is always cold and they change their tap selections often. Our favorite burger so far is the croqueta burger!

Do not go starving because there is definitely going to be a wait. After seeing all the reviews and seeing the unusual burger selections my interest was peaked. I had the Cuban which had croquetas, egg and bocadito spread. How can you go wrong? Well for me even though the burger was great quality was just a bit much. The texture of the croqueta and meat didn’t mesh. Don’t get me wrong it was not bad, I just couldn’t handle all of that stuff in one burger. My cousin had another crazy concoction of the Breakfast burger, which had hash browns and egg. She seemed to tolerate all of the hodge podge of textures better than I did. My boyfriend opted for the traditional burger and he was very happy with his choice. The quality of the meat was exceptional and cooked exactly how he ordered. So I have left the best for last. The onion rings are the bomb and of course dessert, brownie explosion. I don’t like to order brownie or lava cakes because they usually are not made by the restaurant, but this brownie was unbelievable. There is no way to finish it even when you share, but don’t let that steer you from ordering do what I did. Scooped out the ice cream and took the brownie home for my emergency late night sweet craving. Oh and another plus if you are an FIU student they will give you 15% off so don’t forget your ID.

Pros: The burgers are delicious! Always perfectly cooked and juicy. The fries are always really tasty too. They have an excellent selection of craft beers for decent prices and good specials. Service was pretty good last time I went(but I sat at the bar). They also give 15% off for FIU students which is a plus for me. Last time I went the bill for 2 burgers, 2 sweet potato fries and 2 beers was only 35 bucks(not including tip $ Fiu discount). I thought that was a great deal. Cons: Nothing major, parking isn’t the best, and it’s a small restaurant so I wouldn’t suggest going at peak hours because there might not be a table. Also, their food always takes a while to come out but I just use that as a good excuse to try one of their beers. Can’t wait to come back!

Another hit! I love when positive reviews lead me to outstanding food! I’ve been staking this place out waiting for the perfect time to avoid the crowds and today was perfect timing. Hidden in a rinky dink plaza this burger spot is the real deal. I must warn you they’re a bit pricey(2 burgers/2 fries/2 Sodas/35.00) but the food is delicious. Whitney our server was great, offering to explain the menu and willing to answer any questions. I had the Breakfast Burger which was perfect! I have nothing negative to say about it, bacon, egg, hashbrown, cheese, what can possibly go wrong? My partner in crime had a custom built burger consisting of queso frito, plantain, and a fried egg. YUM!!! A great creation. We had two orders of truffle fries, one cajun and the other plain. You can say we were hungry. Needless to say we had no room for dessert. I definitely recommend A&G and highly suggest you share your burger.

Found this place via Unilocal while staying at the Hilton on business. When you approach the restaurant you might have pause to go in, but I recommend you proceed! First, their collection of craft beers is fantastic. Second, they have more burger combinations than I have ever seen in a restaurant. And third, the burgers are awesome! The way my burger tasted is the main reason I’m giving 5 stars. The choice of beers is an added benefit. I ordered the standard burger; the Drive In, with garlic fries. They serve hand made patties cooked to order. Can’t go wrong here if you like burgers. And by the way, the staff is friendly.

You hear of delicious restaurants all over miami… Midtown, Downtown, Brickell… but this little gem is hidden away in sweetwater right across the street from my office(lucky me!). Naturally, I stumbled on it on Unilocal while searching for a lunch place. I was skeptical but gave it a try. This has become my favorite burger spot in Miami and have been so many times I’ve lost count. They’re so creative with their menu and execute every item perfectly. They also have an amazing craft beer selection. Of the items I’ve tried, my favorites have been: Croqueta Burger– ½ pound certified angus beef topped with american cheese, 2 homemade croquettes(delicious ones at that) and a fried egg. The best part is it is served on a toasted cuban bun with bocadito paste. All of the flavors combine perfectly and I can’t decide if I’m eating breakfast(my favorite meal of the day) or lunch. Croissant Burger– 50% angus beef &50% sausage patty topped with scrambled egg(noticing a breakfast trend yet?), american cheese, hash brown cakes. Served on a butter toasted croissant with cajun ranch sauce. Again, all of the flavors complement each other perfectly. It makes me sad that there are items(like the Croissant burger) that are a limited«chalk board special» and I can’t have it any time I want. But things like that are what add to the reasons of why I love this place. They’re constantly adding to the menu and trying new combinations. They also have a variety of specialty fries. I always order the truffle fries because they’re so amazing. For those of you that don’t like burgers, they also make delicious chicken sandwiches. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

I’m a sucker for burgers so no surprise I had to try this place out glad to say I was not disappointed. I had the cubanito burger which was good and shared an order of nica sliders which tasted amazing! The service was good considering it was only one waitress for the whole restaurant. My only complaint would be that the place is small and parking can be a little tough to find but besides that I’ll definitely be back to give the other burgers a try.

This place is good. Solid option if you are craving a good burger and beer. I just feel that it takes a little long to get your food, also the plates they serve the burger on are way to big and are just awkward with the standing cone of fries. I’d come back, there are a lot of things on the menu I want to try. Just a tip– get there early, the place fills up quick.

This place EARNED the 5 stars! If I had one word to describe it I would say delicious!!! A&G burger is located at sweet water, you wouldn’t even think this place is so good. The service is beyond amazing, the waitress was so friendly, she even gave us recommendations which you wouldn’t expect in a small place like this. They only this is they should hire one more waitress the poor girl was serving all the tables but she did a great job. The burgers have such a unique flavor. They are also so creative always trying and bringing in new things. Their fries are also super unique with different servicing and the presentation of the food is great. Makes you want to eat moreeeee You MUST try the Nica burger. It has fried cheese and coleslaw.

Look out House of Wings, because this place is now my choice for the best wings in Dade! I thought these were nearly perfect wings. Juicy, perfectly fried and a delicious garlicy buffalo sauce. Also, the blue cheese it was served with was quite good as well(which is important). I also had a «make your own» burger with bacon, mayo, lettuce, provolone, and pickles on grilled sourdough. I was planning to go a little bit more adventurous, but they were out of the cuban patties so I just went basic. The burger was cooked a true medium rare which I like. The meat quality was good too. I also had a few bites of the Nica burger which was unique and quite tasty. Also had some cheese fries and some bacon ranch fries which were good, but were ultimately just fries. Only around $ 50 for all this food is pretty good as well. Will almost certainly be back for wings!

A&G, We returned one more gain and what can I say, everything was perfect. Service, on point. Burgers, delish. We even tried your new dark cherry cream soda that was so yum. We had the california burger and the cubanito. I highly recommend the cubanito if you are a fan of cuban styled fritas. The burger patty is made with bits of chorizo and taste like a frita. Trufle fries on the side and we were good to go. The Heat game was on screen. I wish they wouldve scored just as good as your burgers :)

This spot gets 5 stars for creativeness and food portions, as well as quality. The guys that run the place are very nice. Sometimes the delivery of the food takes a while, but it’s worth it at the end. I recommend the Nica burger, Cubanito burger, Crowueta burger, the duck wings, truffle fries, and onion rings. I’ve tried their hot dogs(A&G hot dog explosion), and although they were more than enough for two people. They were simply just filling. They have a nice selection of beers, as well as designer sodas. It’s a bit pricey, and prepare to wait…

So I came tonight for the first time after my husband said it had a chicken waffle and a Doughnut burger. It’s a new upscale burger close to home. Black and white striped walls with one red wall. Modern. Clean. Bar: We sat at the bar. Nice BIG tv. Waitress were nice and we were helped immediately. They have a selection of craft beers and they have 3 wines. They also have Craft Sodas including«Orage Soda». No I didn’t write it wrong. Apparently the person who wrote down the Specials on the board can draw a nice looking burger, but can’t spell orange. I don’t know, but I would get that corrected. Wait: Had to ask the waitress to check up on the food. We basically sat there waiting for about 45 minutes. I mean we just ordered 2 burgers with Fries. I don’t have to wait that long at Sergio’s when we order 2 Full entrees. The place wasn’t packed either. Burger: I ordered the Double Cheese Bacon Burger($ 12) it comes with double slice of American cheese and bacon. It originally comes with a Brioche bun. I replaced it with a Cuban Roll. It was delicious. Ketchup was not necessary. The burger also came with my choice of fries. I decided on the house fries. They were Ok. I tried my hubby’s Truffle fries. They were better. I didn’t like the sauce it came with. I don’t remember what it was. (It wasn’t worth the wait!) Check: the waitress checked up on us to see if everything was ok. But when it was time to bring the check, my husband practically had to stare at her to get her attention. Closing: I’ll go if my husband wants to go, but I’m not a fan. If it were up to me, I would pick another close by venue.

I’m very pleased to have A&G in my hood. Read about this on one of Johnny T’s «The Weekly Unilocal» e-mails. I realized it was five minutes from home and I had to try it. What really lured me to this place is the amount of craft beers available. The waiter told me that they offer over 100 and they also had some seasonals on their blackboard. This blows the other burger joints in this area out of the water. I guess you can’t expect to ever try them all but you’re going to find one you like. As far as the food, I had a Caribbean burger, which was one of the specials that week. Topped with cheese, diced mango and tomatoes, and chopped red onions into a spicy mix. It worked perfectly for me. Accompanied by truffle fries and a Left Hand Milk Stout, I was more than happy. The waiter was awesome and made the recommendation for the burger and beer combination. I ordered my burger medium, and got it medium. What a feat! There are many more items on the menu I would love to try and will definitely be back for more.

I went to visit my mom who lives in the area and I was trying to find a place to take her to have lunch. She is a burger and fries kinda lady so I came across this place on my Unilocal search. We really liked this place. Eddie, our wiater was amazing. He really made my mom’s day as they were bantering back and forth. We shared the Cubanito burger, which contains beef and chorizo. pretty much a frita on a cuban bread roll. It was really tasty. I loved the onion rings. they were lightly battered and cripsy and it came with two sauces… a ranch and a chipolte which was perfect because I don’t like ranch and my mom does not like heat. I also liked the fact that when you bit into the onion ring the entire onion did not slide out leaving you with just the breading. I hate when that happens. We got the truffle fries with the burger. They were alright… just a hint of the truffle flavor to it… but the mustard suace they serve it with was delish! Looking forward to coming back and trying the other burgers!
