Does this place still exist? I drove by yesterday and it was closed with a sign stating that the restaurant was temporarily closed due to a water condition. There seems to be no Korean restaurant in the general area.

This place was great. I wasn’t expecting to find such a stellar place in the Pocono’s for sushi and the reviews spoke for themselves. The service was slow, but the owner was very accommodating and apologetic. The food made up for it all. Ramen was spicy and super hot temp. Sake salmon sushi was on point as well. Note: this place is under new ownership, but I believe all of the product comes from the same place as the old owners. This owners owns 2 other sushi bars near the city and knows what’s up.

I am korean and I love this place so much. He gave us kim chi and bulgogi and jeyuk. My little girl loves this place after staying at Greatwolf resort and camelback resort. THISISNOTEASYTOFINDTHEADDRESSBUTWORTHYTOCOME.

Satto’s is a great find in the Poconos area. The food is fresh, the establishement is clean, the service is friendly and the prices are resonable. I do wish they had a little bit more of a Korean menu but overall a good place.

Great find! Very friendly service here! And awesome sushi rolls on top of that. We had the Pink Lady roll, Karate roll, Red Devil roll, and a Spicy Himachi roll. They were fantastic and fresh. The Spicy Sauce they use is one of the best I’ve ever had. He told us they make all sauces in house. Old family recipes. Edamame was a very generous portion for $ 4 too! They also gave us a Tuna Hand roll to try on the house, which was really good! We will be back a lot since we have a house up here!

As someone who isn’t a fan of seafood or fish, I’m very pleased to say that the items served here are scrumptious. Since I was getting over a cold, I chose the dumpling soup as my appetizer. They didn’t have the chicken available so I went with the vegetable one. It was flavorful with plenty of scallions and two dumplings inside. We also tried the spicy salmon roll which was so good I almost forgot I was eating seafood, the fried vegetable roll which was quite large and the avocado roll as well. As you wait for your items they serve you an appetizing tidbit of something special. Our waiter gave us a roll that was a mixture of 7 fishes he said, spicy flavorful and overall delicious. I’d definitely recommend this tiny gem to anyone visiting the area and yearning for some Japanese cuisine.

Japanese and Koreans are similar in cleanliness so I’m super happy to find this gem of a restaurant in the Poconos. It has that izakaya fell to it. I love sushi and eat at Manhattan’s top authentic Japanese restaurant like Sushiden, Hatsuhana, even the Americanized Nobu… I worked for a Japanese company in midtown for five years and travelled to Japan. Just saying I’m absolutely serious about my sushi. Korean-run Japanese restaurants are well regarded in NYC because of cleanliness and well the proximity of Korea to Japan makes the Cleanliness factor a plus. This is a true gem and will come back again. $ 8 for the set is a fresh fresh deal

We’re from NYC and glad to see this joint here. The food is not mind blowing, but if you want safe,(somewhat affordable) classic rolls, this place will do it. We ordered take out. I called it in and came 20 minutes later as suggested and it was ready. Really wish they’d serve the Korean dishes on their menu though!

Usually, my wife and I drive to Sarah Street Bar and Grill, or make the drive to Edgewater, New Jersey, but now we have closer option. This place is great! It’s affordable and the food is delicious. The owner is very friendly and provides great service. Since they just opened the menu is limited, but he is working on that. This shop seems to specialize in the quick«obento» style sushi. It reminds me of Japan. I lived in Japan for about 10 years and the quality is comparable to the authentic flavors of Japan. I cannot wait to try his Korean dishes(the kitchen menu is not available yet).
