Very poor customer service. They installed my hvac system incorrectly so that the secondary drip pan collected water from the condensation pipe — when there really should never be water there unless there is a problem. Subsequently the drip pan rusted through and through causing water damage to my second floor. They put the blame on me for not servicing earlier instead of not taking responsibility for their installation. I consulted another hvac co and they couldn’t believe that the system was installed the way they did it. They said it was ‘built to fail’ and had it been them, they would feel 100% responsible and would reinstall. Meanwhile Charles A Klein & Sons doesn’t take responsibility and washes their hands clean of any wrongdoing even though they themselves admit that the system’s pipe were installed incorrectly. How can you trust in a company that doesn’t stand by its own workmanship? I’m usually not one to write reviews, but this experience with them has been so distasteful that I had to post.

I used this company some time ago — but i’m still new to Unilocal and making sure i hit the places that need to be written about… So … Had a little plumbing emergency. Well — the honest answer is — i broke the toilet. No, not what your thinking. I thought i could be the plumber and fix a problem and i ended up making it much worse. Yay me, right? Anyway — time to call in the pros. How do you pick a plumber when there are millions out there? Ask someone! This company was referred to me by a neighbor… Anyway — called for service — said they’d be there that afternoon… and they were. Didn’t have to wait too long and the guy that came(sorry don’t remember your name) was nice. Quick and efficient too. Next came the bill. I really wasn’t sure what to expect. They had to replace some parts blah blah blah and of course the labor. I was guessing 200ish? Nope … More like 100 bucks. A steal as far as i was concerned. And to be honest — i don’t know how much any of that stuff is supposed to cost. But a service call 3 hours after i asked for it? Quick awesome service? And of course a working bathroom again… I would have paid more. Thanks for the service — when the time comes — we’ll use you again!
