This is the collision repair shop your grandpa warned you about. I need to publicly warn the Unilocal community — do not come here! They will not commit to or even provide you a completion time or date at any point in your repair. Mine took a month and a half, 75% of that time it was sitting in pieces in their shop«waiting on parts.» There is no customer communication or status updates either. Getting my car repaired here was a month and a half of anxiety, lies, and stress. This is shop is run by this guy(who is consistently rude all the time) named John. When they(he) makes a mistake or oversight of any kind, he never admits to it or apologizes for it. They used scratched glass(to replace a glass panel that shouldn’t have needed to be touched in the first place that they damaged during the repair but never admitted to) and when I told them about it they used the«it could have happened after the repair» excuse when the car is flawless except for that specific glass panel that they replaced. Being forced to deal with John’s constantly rude, argumentative, lying, and utterly untrustworthy character scarred me. I will never in my life go back to a shop remotely resembling this in any way. At one point I was even told by the owner that they don’t care about my business! And«the amount of rental car coverage I have is not their problem.» Customer service is a completely foreign concept here. This is the kind of place that to get customer service you need to work for it. The shop has no parts manager so there is a good chance parts will sit at a dealership for days before JTs checks on them. The shop is so small they can only work on a handful of cars at a time but will accept more than they can work on at once. The issues go on and on. The worst part of this place is their shady business practices. The scale of my repair exploded — a simple dent required them to replace half the car for some reason — the logic just isn’t there. And what are you going to say when your car is in pieces in their shop and they need to «order more parts or we won’t be able to do the repair.» And all of this was me engaging them — they never called to update me on the repair even once proactively. This was by far the most stressful, costly, and terrible experience I have had with any business in my life. Not knowing when you will get your car back — aka the way you make money and care for your family; or not knowing how long to plan for a rental car for, or how much everything will cost, and the feeling of your car being held hostage by a business that cares nothing for you even as another human is something I wouldn’t wish unto anyone. Strongly contemplating reporting them to the BBB. TL;DR Avoid this place at all costs. They have shady business practices, non existent customer service, terrible infrastructure, the owner is an absolute nightmare to deal with. Your dealership is even better than this. Do not trust their Facebook rating.
