Barry’s Chevron Service

I came to this gas station and tried to get 20 $ worth of gas with an old 20 dollar bill before the bills changed to the big face bills and the big heavy set girl wouldn’t accept my money she said I don’t take those bills. I was like wtf it’s money I had just pulled out money from the bank and she refused to take it. I don’t know if she didn’t have a snack before she went to work or was pmsing. But she was rude about it like my money wasn’t good. I hate when I stop there and she’s there I just go about my business and to top it off I went the following day to buy cigarettes with that same 20 $ bill with another cashier no problem I was like wtf. So I told her hey remember that bill you wouldn’t accept the other day the other cashier took it with no problem and she just looked at me and said I don’t take them. I’m sorry but what a bitch. Ps tinder won’t even help you…

I like this Chevron. Plenty of snacks and a large enough store for everything.
Too bad it wasn’t a AM/​PM Chevron. Would make it that much sweeter.

Sooooo, based on others reviews, I am now aware this location is the priciest gas. Then again it is Chevron so it isn’t surprising.
This location is just convenient for me and my household. We always stop at this station to fill up, grab a drink or two and maybe the occasional lotto ticket. The employees here though seem to be a hit or miss. Sometimes they are the nicest, other times, they look at you like you are stealing the money from their drawer. It is very clean and organized inside though. Especially for a sylmar location that is worthy of the 4 stars.

The only reason to stop is out of necessity, The priciest gas around.

Normally, I wouldn’t write a review for a gas station unless there was something outstanding or extreme, which was the case. :)
I rarely stop by this location because it is extremely pricey compared to other local gas stations. This is mainly due to the fact that it is located right off of the 210 freeway. However, when I make the rare stop here it is simply out of convenience.
Whenever I stop by this location the staff is always very friendly. They answer my questions, they joke with me and they make an effort to keep me happy.
They get an «a-​ok» purely for convenience and customer service.
Tip
If you ask them nicely to turn the air on they absolutely will without a fuss.

I don’t understand how they can charge so much for gas. We live in SYLMAR not Beverly Hills!!! Besides, there’s an ARCO just down the street and a COSTCO GAS nearby for Pete’s Sake! Lower your prices. At least they don’t jack up the cost of a Lottery ticket.

This review is especially for one SPECIFIC area, the ladies bathroom. IT IS THE CLEANIEST GAS STATION BATHROOM YOU WILL EVER FIND. May I just say that I have visited this bathroom a few times just for this very reason?
One of my really good friends lives up the street, so once in awhile I make a pit stop to fill up the good ‘olé tank.
Okay, I admit it. I went there REALLY just to use the bathroom. Did you know they even decorate it with plants and some nice smelling stuff?
