I fully agree with the other negatve reviews on here. I wish I would have checked Unilocal first. I’ve had prescription glasses since the second grade so I’m not unfamiliar with the process. For the first time in my life, I was given the wrong prescription. At first I blamed the vendor I ordered my glasses through. But nope, they verified the prescription before they filled it. I looked at my prescription records for years before and they were all pretty similar until I visited this office. Miraculously my left eye was a totally new prescription. A few months later at a new doctor, my left eye «bounced back». I think not. The reason I’m bothering to write the review? I’m out my benefits for the year with my insurance and out of pocket over $ 200 for a pair of glasses that don’t work. Come on, even WalMart can get a prescription right.

i’m gonna start off by telling you not to go here.
1. the optometrist gave me the wrong prescription. she seemed really nice too but i guess not.
2. the front desk staff are rude beyond belief. they look down you if money is an isssue. stuck up faces and all. especially the one who knows all the prices. they just make up numbers i swear.
3. they are extremely overpriced. they charge at least an additional $ 100 compared to most places.
4. because of the pricing i had to go somewhere else and this is how i discovered the bad prescription.
5. they seem to not care that they messed up my prescription, especially since i didn’t get my glasses through them.
6. i’m out almost $ 400 and have to suffer with strained eyes thanks to them (the bad prescription) and their terrible customer service.
never again!

I have been a patient with Craig’s office for over 20 years. He and his staff are by far the most professional and courteous medical staff I have ever encountered. This has nothing to do with supporting a local doctor, this has to do with choosing the best doctor. Craig Hoeft is truly one of the best, and I would trust my eye sight to no-one else.

The front office staff is terrible. I ordered very expensive glasses, and it took over a month to get them. When they did arrive, the lenses were damaged and I had to send them back. I constantly had to call to see what was holding the order up because they never bothered to call me. When I tried to order contacts that I have worn before, but not with this doctor, the staff told me there was no way they were going to fill the order because they weren’t prescribed to me. When I asked to speak with the doctor they were very difficult and told me he was unavailable and that they didn’t know when he would be available. I tried to support my local eye doctor and got screwed for it. Don’t go here. Anyone has to be better.
