A private operation, Dry Creek Farm in in the Lake Terrace View hood of L.A. and is operated Mark Purcell who hails in from Pennsylvania. My uncle is always looking out for great horses, and this is one operation that serves as an excellent midway station before we transport the horses up to Northern Idaho and home on the Fountain Bay Ranch.
SETUP
Mark began riding and competing at the age of 10. For two years he headed the training program at Griffith Park Farms before deciding to start this venture, naming it Dry Creek Farms.
Mark’s passion for horses and his dedication to the sport of show jumping drive his training philosophy. He helps each client to develop and achieve their personal goals while maintaining the balance of work and fun!
BOARDING & TRAINING
Associated with Dry Creek Farm is it’s boarding facility, Haley Farms — a training facility for horses, whether your desire is purely for leisure or you want to amp up your horses skill-​sets for competitions. This facility has some of the best stalls, arenas, turnouts, and equine exercising equipment I’ve ever seen either no the East or West Coasts.

Dry Creek is a great barn for every level of rider — there is a high level of experience and knowledge that you would expect from a top show barn, but with the fun, safety and opportunities that you want from a lesson barn. Discounted introductory lessons and lesson packages are available. For clients with their own horses they offer a customized full service training program. Great reputation, great competition record and drama free too!
