Jiffy Lube

Brought my Mazda RX8 here for the first time. The assistant manager Joshua was so helpful and knew a lot about my car. He recommended some services that he knew my car needed and he also recommended me a specified mechanic for my car so I don’t get screwed over by the dealer. My car is running wonderfully I recommend Joshua to anybody who has questions on their car or who’s just kind of clueless about their car like I am :)

I am updating this review to 5 stars. I was just in and the service there is so nice. The manager (Lalo) helped me with the discount off my phone (I am not tech savvy) and I had the oil change done. Fast service, friendly people, and a free air freshener for the car!

I attempted to get my wife’s car an oil change. I brought my own synthetic oil and filter with me. They had an advertised special of $ 29.95 online and on the side of the building. My wife had given me a coupon for $ 18.00 off. The gentleman inside said that the price of $ 29.95 is only if I use their oil and filter and that the coupon was not good unless I used their product. I tried to reason with him that I am supplying my own stuff so the price should be less, but he would not hear of it. I agreed to pay the special price, but he said that because I brought my own stuff that now the price out the door was $ 40.00. I told him that last time I was there the price was less, and that they over tightened my oil pan drain plug. He told me that they had to do that as they frequently loosen up and fall out. I have been in the automotive dismantling industry my whole life and that is a load if I ever heard one. I will not be going here any time soon.

I always go here for my oil changes. They are always accomodating and professional. Great service at this station

This is a good place to get an oil change. The people are nice and informative, the place is clean, and the services are competitively priced if you happen upon a service coupon. If you don’t have a coupon. .. not so much.
They do not try to take advantage of you, but will try to sell you their other services. It’s their job, and they don’t pressure you too much.
If you are fortunate enough to stop by during a slower time, they get you out quickly. However, sometimes the waits can be long, and I have been here twice when they didn’t have the filter for my 2005 Kia Spectra.

Brought in my jeep for an oil change and had a coupon for a basic oil change. I found out my jeep required a certain type of oil and would cost more than the coupon I had originally brought in. They charged me a little more than the coupon since my oil was a higher grade. I was happy with the service and the discount they gave me since my car required it. This is the 2^nd time they worked with me and having had a coupon. I was grateful :)

My husband had good service! He forgot his cell phone and they were about to close and Lalo was nice to wait for him till he got there! Thanks guys! Hope you enjoy your pizza!

Horrible service! Was told it’ll take 45 minutes… I’ve been here 1.25 hours and they still haven’t started my truck! I told the counter guy that this long of a wait for an oil change was ridiculous… his response «come back on a Wednesday, we’re not that busy then» no apologies, nothing! What a waste of time! A frickin 15 minute oil change wound up being close to 2 hour. Joshua was yelling at customers etc…

Excellent customer service; they explained everything I needed for the car. The manager was very professional and courteous.

Oil changes… what a pain. I brought my wife’s car in having bought a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change for $ 49 which is really good for full synthetic.
I got here pretty early (around 8:30) and there was one car ahead of me with one bay open for the oil change. I told the guy what I needed and showed him the Groupon and he told me to relax and there was fresh coffee inside. I could see the bay from the customer waiting area which is good and usually places like this upsell you and they did too… however given I don’t drive my wife’s car she doesn’t always tell me when she hears stuff on it.
The oil was really dirty and should have been changed a couple of month ago so I agreed on the engine flush to clean it out before the new synthetic was added. Final costs after everything was still $ 70, but that is usually the cost of a synthetic oil change. Took around an hour of my time and they checked all the fluids.
I shop around for deals so can’t honestly say I will come here again unless there is another deal, but was okay with the service I got here.

I’ve been here a few times and every time is a great experience. Josh has great customer service and work ethic. I will definitely keep coming back. You guys rock!

Just got turned away from this jiffy lube for a simple oil change because they didn’t have a filter for my car (02 saturn). Really?!? Isn’t that basically all they do at a jiffy lube?
Then he tells me to go to O’Reilly’s to buy an oil filter myself, bring it back to them and he’ll give me a $ 3 credit. What just happened!?! Should I buy the oil too??? I mean since I’m there… He should of just told me to do it myself… I know that’s not procedure and if it is your system is broken…

So I came with my wife to get a oil change because we all know how it can be when a women comes in by herself I walked up to the front a male didn’t get his name but he was the only African American in the shop, I asked him if he can do a oil change on a 2014 Sorrento and he said oh that car needs special oil I don’t know if I have it in stock (let me tell you guys I work at a KIA I’m a sales manager so I know 100% everything about the car) so he walked outside and said the car was a 5.1 and needs more then the normal oil. He knows nothing the car is a 3.3 .he told me the oil change will be 79.99 plus filler
I looked at him and smiled and asked so like around 100? He said a little more at the KIA dealership the oil change is 19.99 I asked him if you can but the BS and just do the oil change he said NO so I left and went down the street to pepboys and got it done for 24.99 STAY WAY FROM THIS PLACE
On the way out I asked a different guy how much for my oil change and he said 29.99
PS. I don’t need anyone for the company to try to contact me saying that you will try to fix the problem .the problem is not with me its with your employees you guys are losing out on money thus is one story I’m sure there is a lot more of people that don’t Unilocal

I went there recently with a Groupon, they asked if I wanted new wiper blades because mine looked old. I told them I only needed a left wiper blade (I knew my right was working fine and I’m on a budget, hence the coupon) after I left my right wiper blade, which was fine before i went there, was no longer properly working. I’m pretty sure they broke it because I didn’t buy both.
Dont go to this place, young punks.

Found a coupon for an oil change and got a great deal. Joshua had great customer service. Oil change was within 30 minutes, showed us the oil, and car was running smoothly again. Would definitely want to keep this place as a regular.

Arrived around 4 in the afternoon. They immediately started working on my Jeep. Discussed with detail with Joshua on the main issues my truck was having. Very informative I must say! I was out within 30 min. Fantastic! Overall was very happy with everything. Great customer service by Joshua & team. Will definitely be coming back.

This Jiffy Lube saved me! I was on a drive from Bakersfield to Pasadena in 104° weather, and my car overheated. I found this jiffy lube, I was dripping sweat, and very frustrated because I was in a time crunch and didn’t have time for my infamous bad luck. Joshua helped me free of charge and even put air in my tires. It was super nice, helpful, and a lifesaver! I was extremely satisfied with the service!

I had the best experience with Joshua, he was very professional and courteous. He explain the different oils I can use in my new car. Great service.

I was hesitant coming here, Jiffy Lube usually has a reputation for doing shady things but considering that I had not been to this location I thought I would give it a try.
I pulled in and immediately was greeted by a tech and he took over my car. I went inside the lobby since it was kind of warm that day and within 15 min my car was ready. I was surprised that my SUV didn’t «need additional work». I paid $ 29.99 for my oil change plus tax. Which you cant beat. I was in & out in 15 – 20 min. I loved it. Will definitely go back and recommend.
This is the first location where I actually felt welcomed and didn’t feel like they wanted to pile all these services on me like other Jiffy Lube locations.
