Sylmar Car Wash

Horrible service. I understand it is a hot day but they should have better customer service was trying to ask the lady about doing something on my car but while i was talking to her she walks away. So disrespectful!

HORRIBLE.SLOWWWW.LAZYY workers. Took three guys 2 hours to wash my seats. Most of the time they were standing around my car cracking jokes when they should’ve been doing their job. Then another hour to wash and dry it. Should never have to spend 3 hours at a car wash. Completely messed up my day

I was in the area and my car was dirty. I had some time so I decided to stop here to get my car washed. Prices are about average. Cheapest one is $ 17 up to $ 27. There are four steps with varying additions as you go up in price. It wasn’t very busy which I was happy about, but I waited about 45 minutes for my vehicle.
The wash was okay; I’ve had worse. But it was far from perfect and not spectacular by any means. As I got into my car after it’s finished I noticed some smudges that had not been cleaned on the windshield. No big deal. But then I started driving and looked into my rearview mirror and saw that my back window had a whole bunch of spots that have not been cleaned. Then I got on the freeway glanced down for my speed, and noticed that something was open. I had to pull off the freeway and pull over to discover that they had not completely closed my trunk. When I got home, I looked in the back seat and discovered that they had not vacuumed very well back there and there were still many small white hairs. I ended up pulling out my vacuum cleaner and window cleaner when I got home and doing some additional work on my car… after paying someone else to clean it.
Not the worst ever and if you need your car clean it’s not the worst spot to stop for a quick clean, but don’t expect it to be amazing or perfect.

They need more personal and the ones they have a just lazy, they take forever. I hate coming here but is better than the others around so far. They r just too slow they have ppl waiting and the lines doesnt seen to advance.

Worst car wash ever! When they were trying to dry my windows they left the towel lint all over my windows. I made a comment about it and they responded with «that’s how the rag is». I don’t know but maybe they should be using proper rags not bathroom towels. I was so mad. Waste of money.

Didn’t dry my back windows, didn’t vaccum completely. Half ass job! Also very rude cashier. Both people that helped me were women as well

I don’t see the difference between package #1 & #4 !!! Paying 16.99 or 26.99 not taking my car there again. The people that clean the car are nice but I don’t like the way they clean.

I got my car detail today and I was very pleased with the outcome! They did a very thorough job! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Wow, these ladies working here are something else, you ask them for a receipt to take to cashier to pay for oil change & car wash and you’d think you cussed at them the way they respond and look at you. Will l come back here, probably not but l am sure posting my review though.

Don’t waste your money. I complained about my van just sitting there no one has touch it while six cars who came after me were taken first. After I complained they took it thru the car wash, without vacuuming. They get a star for the guy that cleaned my windows.

I had my car detailed and they didn’t even do the rims. You pay over $ 100 and you expect them to do the job right.

I went to car wash to get my 2014 white toyota camry washed. I got their super delx package for 26.99. Oh man what a horrible job. They left so many stains on the windows. Blatant stains and on the body of my car. My car is white these are easily viewable marks they made no effort to clean. I had to clean them my self when i got home. No attempt at cleaning tge cup holder. They scratched my leather seats. They didn’t give me my air freshener as promised. Horrible experience will not be back. Cuz they wont do a good job for u. I even tipped the guy. Avoid at all cause

My mother in law took my car to her regular guy, at this place and she had a oil change and car wash real good job, good price. Did not give it 5 stars just because everywhere I go they always seem to not bother vacuuming under the carseats. so not just this place but everywhere ive been too. Will be coming here again.

This place sucks!!! It was good until they started treating me like a number to make there quota for the month. I have a vinyl wrapped infinity and wash it once a week at my house and with no issues, it’s not rocket science people. Only trick is don’t let it sit out in the sun and dry, keep it wet and dry it quick. They don’t know what they are doing and hire any idiot that will work for 7 dollars an hour, no sense on how to clean a car.
I complained after a wash recently since they did the worst thing ever and tried to fool me like they did a hand wash on my car, the guy cleaned it with dirty water from the bucket, so when it dried like I told them not to let it they said it was finished and it looked like crap. The owner rinsed it off again like that made a difference and they girl in the front tried to act like just because she works there your not supposed to use soap on it and argued with me and told me that was the issue, I told her I have had several cars with wraps and wash them myself with soap and the problem is you let it dry before hitting with a towel and that’s what happens. Long story short…
I go back last week and ask for the $ 20 dollar hand wash and the same girl said her boss told her that it would be $ 65 to wash my car because of the wrap now. BULLSHIT… they used this tactic to either get me to leave (which I did) or to say hey, If we clean it and he complains at least we got $ 65. I WILL NEVER GO BACK… SOMETIMES THEY SHOULD LISTEN TO SOMEONE WHO TAKES CARE OF THERE CAR AND KNOWS MORE ABOUT WASHING A CAR THEN THE OWNERS, TRUST ME I KNOW MY SHIT…

My car was in desperate need of a good car wash. Decided to go here today instead of going the cheap drive thru wash route and soooo very glad I did. My car looks amazing inside and out! The man cleaning it really took his time I couldn’t be happier

Sure they clean the interior which is what I wanted and it was pretty good, but they left me with so many scratches on the exterior and it’s not even clean.

Unfortunately they did not clean the car… I paid to have it cleaned, and they didn’t even bother to wipe the sap off… or clean… the car. Isn’t that what a car WASH does?
Ok, done with the sarcasm… But seriously my experience goes like this…
Starts out with a girl speaking Spanish to me and pretending to not know English while attempting to sell me the products, then finally speaks English after about 20 seconds of getting irritated at me (for no reason… I’m assuming she was hot and not having a great day). Then after asking for the $ 17.99 option she says that’ll be $ 18.99 because your car costs more. A MINI SUV… MINI… It’s as big as the Cadillac «sedan» in front of me (which is a TANK of a car), and they want to charge an extra dollar. Whatever… So I accept and move on. I explained to her that I do not want any scents in the car OR tire dressings. She said «ok» and I again repeated it because there have been times where these car wash employees don’t listen.
Side note: I am a nice person (I think) and never showed signs of dismay or being upset this whole time.
I go in and the cashier was nice and calm and treated me like a person (fancy that!). Then I began the 20min wait (no big deal… I’m a calm person).
The guy working out in the heat was really focussing a lot on the interior of our car (and I could see him really working on it well!) The guy on the exterior was chatting to his friends and not really working (comparatively speaking). When they were finished, I walked over, gave the interior guy a VERY generous tip and told him if he wanted to split it with his friend he can, but that I saw the work he was doing and was impressed. He then saw his co-​worker beginning to put tire dressings on and yelled at him «No! The customer doesn’t want! No tires and no freshener!» Then the exterior guy reaches in the car and takes out the opened scent packets… *facepalm*
The problem with this place is lack of management. They don’t tell the employees specific information about each car other than scribbling on the windows and hoping the next guy will be able to read it… Not.
The other problem is… When I got home, guess how long it took me to get all of the sap and grime off of the car? The same amount of time it would have taken me to simply wash the car myself.
I’ll take my business elsewhere. There are far superior car wash locations nearby.

I usually am super cheap & do the drive through car styles like at a Chevron, as they do a decent job cleaning the OUTSIDE of the vehicle.
However, as anyone who knows me IRL will tell you, Jacquie Onassis Galli sheds quite a bit. No matter what. It’s a pice I learned to deal with 10 years ago when I rescued her & it’s pretty much something I’ve adapted too. Jacquie hair is just EVERWHERE. So, I work so much that my little girl goes with me in my car whenever possible so we can spend time together. (NOT in this heat though and parked.)
Anyway, back to this car wash. It’s expensive. I like it because they do a GOOD JOB getting most of the Jacquie Hair out of the vehicle. Kudos to them. But damn, they really fucking should for $ 13.00 for a basic wash!
They don’t honor their «Tuesday» specials & claim they don’t do coupons. Umm, okay. The owner is kind of a dick, when you don’t pay cash. Who has cash?
Also, I’m not a fan of tipping (I know, you all hate me now. Watch the Seinfeld ep) so for a wash I just do a dollar. That gives me another sorry look.
The bottles water is also expensive, $ 2.99. Dude, WTF?
I’d rate 4 stars if better prices, really. Five with service and a smile.

I have came to this car wash for 3 times now I live less then 2 minutes away from here so I’m like why not go. The first time it was a cheap wash didn’t care about it haha. But then I got a new car and it’s black so we all know how black cars and dust and after rain gets. It gets all nasty and ugly the down fall of having black car, the struggle is real. So the last was about 2 weeks ago it the $ 23 special it had the works and all tire shine and all. My car came out very clean stunning. But the moment I drive away and make a right turn bam all the water that was on the mirrors comes out and bam it let me down.
So today 6−12−15 around like 1ish I went and the girl got me a deal on the wax and it came with some other stuff I was like let’s do it why not paid $ 40. Mike was the one that hand dried my and waxed my car I like the fact that he took his with it and made my car look like the day I got it from the dealer almost a month ago. But man took his time I was satisfied over all. Just some little things but I understand that the workers can’t focus all there time in one car they gotta make a living also so I didn’t mind the little things they missed
