My first son began at Tiny Totts when he was 6 months old, my second at 3 months. That was four years ago… The daycare itself has stimulation of all kinds, from toys and puzzles for all development levels to crawling tubes and a great little play kitchen that my boys love to serve«coffee» to me from. Debra really goes out of her way to keep the kids stimulated, from trips outside to a great play area in her backyard to dancing, learning songs and sign language. I and also very much enjoy the photos she posts during the course of the day, it makes me feel like I’m not too far away from them when I can see what they are up to. Debra takes individual time to teach my kids shapes, colors, alphabet, whatever stage they are at, she has something for them. It’s a very preschool oriented setting, but with a Lot of playtime. Over the years she has expressed her desire to teach a preschool curriculum to them. She and has done a pared down version of it, complete with artsy projects when they are bigger, incorporating seasonal changes and holidays, and using their own desire to learn as her cue to teaching each kid. It’s clean, organized, homey, and she is very accommodating to my seasonally varied schedule. The price is very reasonable for such attentive care, I feel like I am getting more than I pay for-something that doesn’t happen every day. It’s not easy to have these little guys wreaking havoc every day, and she manages it very well, loving, discipline when necessary, and a smile even at the end of what must be a long day!
