As my own CVS knows (corner of Magnolia/​Parkway in TLH) — I’m a fan of CVS. In large part, because my first state-​side job interview was at an Eckerd’s in Naples, FL (CVS absorbed Eckerd’s). Also in part because my wife’s first job was at Eckerd’s.
But, anyway…
I came up to the mountain house (Wolf Knob, off of Cullowhee Mountain) having forgotten one of my medicines. I came down the mountain and visited this pharmacist who treated me like the most important customer in the world. They saw that I needed to have my inhaler (I’m asthmatic, and when you change up humidity and temperature, I’m jacked) and swiftly got my prescription filled.
It was as though I was back home, dealing with James and Cindy.
