I was desperate for sushi, so we came here. It was almost good. The only issue with the sushi is that they didn’t de-vein the shrimp, and that struck me as kind of amateur hour. Aside from that, the crunch roll was quite good. The hibachi was uninspired. The carrots were cooked to the point of being utter mush, and the chicken was meh. The soba noodles were pretty good. The service was good. The lady who helped us was fast and nice, and she brought the check fast.

Love this place. I always get my food to go before I head to work. Quick and fresh. So tasty.

Very poor service and uncaring attitude. When it is busy they handle it poorly.

I usually frequent the Sylva establishment. I was very pleased with the service and the quality of the food. The menu was the same to the Sylva establishment which was nice to know I could get my favorite dish at either establishment.

I live in sylva and have ate at kobe several times. I have eaten at other hibachi restaurants and find kobe to be mediocre. The quality seems to be falling off the past couple of times I’ve ate there. Whatever you do don’t order a salad(iceberg lettuce only) by far the worst I’ve ever ate.

This place is great if you want sushi or Japanese steakhouse dishes. There is virtually no wait for your food and the service has been excellent. Perfect place to stop for a nice meal in Sylva.
