Great shop, good selection, and helpful crew. Has already saved me twice fixing some older bikes with hard to find parts! Mainly they deal with MTB and Road bikes(sorry not much on BMX), but they can order anything you’re looking for. The store is much better than the old location on the main street. Parking is still kind of a pain because of how the building is right on the road. But at least you don’t have to worry when backing out like you did at the old spot. The shop has a lot of bikes to try out even for the little tikes. If you’re new to the area they can guide on which trails to check out besides just Tsali. THANKSMOTIONMAKERS!

When I moved back to my hometown… I hadn’t owned a mountain bike in over 10 years, so I wanted to get back into it and Motion Makers came highly recommended from riders in the area. Their selection is excellent! And the staff is VERY knowledgable helping narrowing down my decision making process. BUT…there is always a «but» *grin*…they had me ride a carbon fiber bike… at about $ 3K…it was as light as a feather, but WAY outside my budget. I would have loved to buy a bike from them but in the end I didn’t…I went with another shop, but if you are in the market for a bike and/or accessories… please check these folks out!!!

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Sylva, NC
I’ve spent a lot of time and money in bike shops and this is, for my money, the best shop in the country. The prices are reasonable and the service is terrific. The mechanics are all top-notch and they will never overcharge. They’ll be happy to tell you where the best roads and trails are in the area – whether or not you buy anything. What’s really remarkable is that they’re great with both serious cyclists and with kids and beginners. There’s a new Motion Makers in Asheville and although I love it, the Sylva shop will always be my favorite. It’s a community bike shop in a day and age where such things are disappearing. I wouldn’t dream of buying a bike, or even a Gu, anywhere else.
