For sure you gotta stop here. Everyone was very friendly. The food was very tasty. I loved the ice house, this place was way cool. Very close to everything. I was watching the sun set for the outdoor dining area.

Yesterday’s Royal is placed right along the canal and is adjacent to the Sylvan Beach Amusement Park. It has a throwback old-west look & feel but has a comfortable vibe to it. It’s a classic part of the Sylvan Beach area and is worth making the visit at least once when your are in the area. They feature three main dining areas. The main dining area, the Ice House(more casual) as well as outside seating. There is also a bar area that features lives music on weekends. The menu is a little better than most places on the beach but is still pretty standard nonetheless. Their big draw seems to be their Prime Rib, but their fish is pretty good too. They can do a standard fish fry, but I particularly like their blackened haddock. T The atmosphere is pretty laid back and is a good place for both a casual dinner for two or a night out with the family. Like most restaurants at the beach, dessert plays an important part of this restaurant’s menu. At Yesterday’s, their main dessert appeal is that they have a wide sundae offering all featuring ice cream they make themselves in the restaurant.

Yesterday’s is a great stop when visiting Sylvan Beach. Good food, decent service and awesome ice cream. Dining on the porch is always fun but the dining room is nice too. The«ice house» can get a bit noisy if there are alot of kids so if you like it a little quieter, ask for the porch or the regular dining room. Yesterday’s also has a decent bar that’s a little less rowdy than some of the other plcaes at the Beach so it’s a good choice if you want to actually be able to hear your friends talk. Definitely recommend a stop this summer I almost forgot the best part — they have a decent size parking lot and will let you leave your car while you go explore the rest of Sylvan Beach. If you’ve even been to the Beach on a Saturday afternoon in the summer, you’ll understand what a great feature this really is!
