AllStar Diner

I ordered a cheeseburger, got home and realized it was a BBQ sandwich. So I call and got hung up on, not once but 3 times. My first and last time to go here.

Let me start by saying the service was top notch! They had a very cute woman in her 50’s taking my order with a smile that could light up the room.
I’m a very big fan of breakfast and i have an extremely strong opinion on the way it’s prepared… And i have to say ALL STAR had one of the best breakfast selections west of Birmingham.
The food tasted good… Eggs in particular to die for, had a sweeter taste than any other scrambled eggs I’ve tasted. The breakfast ham was dry and alittle on the tough side if you ask me… Of course you can’t have breakfast without orange juice and coffee (Orange just was clearly minute maid not freshly squeezed!) All in all great breakfast I would give it ⁸⁄₁₀!(:
But enough about the food lets talk about the establishment itself… Décor was fantastic couldn’t be better I coulda swore I was in a 50’s diner! The people were sweet aswell! One of my only complaints Is that the TV was playing an awfully cruel show with very strong and suggestive language in it… But there was nothing I could about it because they didn’t seem to have a remote out for customers/​:

Listed in 22 Greasy Spoon Burger Joints in Alabama to try before you die. I love a dive diner type place and this is certainly one of that genre. The whole experience is that of a dive diner. The staff was friendly, welcoming and ready to be of service. There is 1 menu taped to the counter where you place your order, they bring the food to the table.
I had to try the burger… well, this place put GREASY in the greasy spoon title. It was really hard to tell much about the burger because of the enormous amount of grease… the bun was soaked when it got to my table.
I am actually glad I made the trip to see, and taste for myself… once is enough.
