I can’t speak to all of the many items on the menu, but Jo Jo’s makes excellent thin crust pizza. The sauce is tangy and flavorful, the crust is foldable, the cheese is plentiful and is cooked to a perfect golden brown. Although I usually stick with pepperoni and/or jalapeños, most people I’ve spoken with think the other toppings are more than adequate. Mind you, this is not the best pizza in Sylvania; that title would have to go to J & G’s on Main Street, but Jo Jo’s is a totally solid choice. Another excellent item at Jo Jo’s is the large antipasto salad. With pepperoni, salami, black and green olives, provolone cheese(and obviously, lettuce and other veggies), it’s a meal unto itself. If you happen to be avoiding carbs, this is one salad that should be on your list. I must also mention one more thing… I whole heartedly agree with one of the previous reviewers: Jo Jo’s Original pizzeria makes a lousy grilled cheese sandwich. In fact, it’s soooo bad… Hey, wait just one second here… have I ever even eaten a grilled cheese sandwich at Jo Jo’s Original PIZZERIA, or any other PIZZERIA, for that matter? Let me think about it… Ummm… no. No, I haven’t. Why not? Maybe because Jo Jo’s is a friggin’ PIZZERIA, folks, that’s why not! At a friggin’ pizzeria, one customarily eats friggin’ pizza! Jeez. Who gives a one star rating to a pizza joint without even mentioning the pizza? 4 stars!

My grilled cheese? The cheese wasn’t melted. The macaroni and cheese? Straight out of the Kraft box. Service? Our waitress was literally the most rude server I have ever encountered. Won’t be back, even if I lived in Ohio. And my Ohio resident friend will NEVER return even though he lives around the corner.

We went here for dinner during a car show at Mayberry Square on Labor Day. After our experience, I will probably never return. I could see into the kitchen from where i was sitting. I saw one of the kitchen staff eating, which I’m pretty sure is a health code violation, but as he was chewing with his mouth open, he was standing right over where another employee was making pizza crusts. When he had finally shoved the last of the food into his mouth, he went back to whatever it was he had been making, chewing with his mouth open over whatever food he was preparing. Another kitchen employee walked out of the kitchen chewing a mouth full of food, then ran his finger around his mouth, then turned around and went back into the kitchen(hopefully to wash his hands, but i doubt it). I had an iced tea that tasted like coffee, which they did take off the bill and quickly brought me a water instead. I heard other customers comment that their iced tea tasted like coffee as well. The staff was less than friendly and service was very slow even though they weren’t busy. The pizza was ok, but nothing i would go back for. After the experience we had here, I wished we would’ve chosen somewhere else to go for dinner.

We went here after a local soccer tourney with 30+ hungry teens and parents — the service was fast, friendly and GOOD pizza and wings. The owner/manager(?) was out in dining room making sure everyone was taken care if promptly. Excellent experience.

I found hair in my pizza and cheese sticks. Even the sauce. I will never ever go there again. Take out service is too slow.

Jo Jo’s is known for their thin crust pizza, but don’t miss out on the best menu item which would be the Parmesan cheese-bread. This stuff is almost better than the pizza. Mondays and Wednesdays are half priced pizza deal days the best time to go if you are getting pizza. They also have the best ranch dressing, home made and it is the BOMB!!! They have other menu items which I have never really tried, I would strongly suggest the pizza and Parmesan cheese-bread!

Oh Jo-Jo’s, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways! Well… One, really, and it’s the pizza. I’ve pretty much grown up on this stuff, whether it be the original Monroe location, the no-longer-there Tam O’Shanter spot, or now this nice, new Centennial location. I love a good, thin crust, hand tossed pizza and this is one of my favorites. In fact, we have a little, secret, off menu tradition that usually throws the girls taking our order. Meat sauce on the pizza! Extra meat sauce! That’s right, we get whatever their beefy, meaty pasta sauce is made for and have it slathered on the pie. It leads to the greasiest, sloppiest, most amazing pizza experience ever! But I might be biased. My brother is downright obsessed with the stuff and orders half-bakes to take with him and finish off in Columbus. He also special orders entire gallons of their salad dressing, which I never cared for, as it’s too tart, and sour lemony for me, but he practically drinks the stuff. Me, I’ll stick to the pie, which I MUST have when I make my way home to Sylvania.

Good menu selections and very good service. Basically a Pizza and sandwich place, but they do have some entre items and appitizers that are very good. Check out grape leaves, hummos, and fatush, the’re great. We dine here about twice a month
