If I could give more stars I would ! One of those rare places that is great for a family dinner with kids but is also a great time for a girls night out /couples dinner. Food is always on point and they are always willing to accommodate your needs and help you order just the right amount. The whole staff is awesome– particularly Craig and Tyler. They make us feel at home every time

Came in here last week for dinner and everything was amazing. The Pasta Chris and Veal Chop with the mushroom sauce were ridiculous. The wait staff was all very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere of the whole place was fun. Kids got to go in the back to make ice cream. Also have a separate room for private parties which seems like it will come in handy. Will definitely be going again.

My first time there… and I won’t ever go back. The appetizers were mediocre at best. I ordered 2 main dishes… the chicken was so over cooked I couldn’t cut it and the sausage was burnt. …I let them know… I wasn’t looking for a free meal. So they comped me dessert and coffee. Big deal. Even though I said I’d pay for it… because i m not like that… but I couldn’t even eat it. Or maybe it was the table of 8 cackling ten year old girls they sat me next too. …and here’s a tip for the owner & mgmt… tuck you shirts in… don’t have your wait staff pull up a chair to my table. I will never go back… God awful!!! I had to out up one star to post this…

We have been there several times and will continue to visit Chris and Tonys. Service is fabulous, food is deliciously seasoned and fresh. They are always willing to accommodate. Great for families –the kids get to create their own ice cream. Clean and airy.

This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants ever. The food is excellent. I have two favorites which are Ultimate Chicken and the Pasta a la Chris which is I get with home made macaroni and it is served with the best Bolognese I have ever had. Last night we were encouraged to have a meatball for an appetizer which was great with ricotta cheese that was seasoned and made an extrordinary GIANT meatball taste amazing. The atmosphere is family style and you will feel like you are part of the family when you go for the very first time. The staff is excellent and the restaurant constantly has owners/management walking around making sure the experience is great. Desserts are fantastic and knowing that I will have plenty of food to take home I do like to enjoy something sweet at the end of the meal. There is so much to choose from but the biscotti with cannoli cream is high on my list. I hope to keep trying something new each time we go. My opinion of some reviews here that say it is loud but this is a family restaurant which generally means a pleasant place to enjoy. The noise is people celebrating not children screaming. It is a place where you enjoy the people who you are with and you talk, laugh, eat, eat and enjoy. If you want to do that quietly perhaps then it is not for you.

Delicious food. Love the zucchini linguine with meat sauce and the shrimp with burnt string beans. So cool how you can go into the kitchen and watch them make your desserts!

WATCHYOURBILLSHADYSHADYALERT!!! This restaurant gets 1 star(which is generous) because of the shady @$!# they pull… not just tonight on New Year’s but other nights. We shared our experience with others who had the same which is why I say this.(i won’t even address the horrific smell that hits you when you walk into the place that is ever so similar to vomit or the staff that throws your plates at you to pass around to your table just before your food comes out) No one expects the best food or service on New Year’s so that has nothing to do with this review. Here’s the deal… we were a table of 12 and ordered 4 family style entrees. We have done the family style thing before so knew 1 entrée per 2 adults with good appetites. There was plenty of food for all of us. Unbeknownst to us when the bill came we were charged for 1 ½ of each entrée.(The food wasn’t anything to rave about especially at the prices) Apparently what we ordered wasn’t enough for the table so the waiter took it upon himself to order 1 ½ of each dish for the table without telling us. While the thought was appreciated the entire dynamic was shady and not at all genuine. When we asked the waiter why we were charged for more than we ordered he didn’t flinch and said he would call the manager. The manager was incredibly polite and without hesitation offered to fix the bill… It was clear they were doing this to others as a way to pad the bill to see who would catch on. It was clearly set up and totally staged. Game over !

This is one of my cousins favorite spots for dinner in Long Island. She took me when I was visiting recently. Great restaurant! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It’s family style and they will serve you. My cousin ordered so unfortunate I can’t remember the name of the chicken we had but it was with some cheese in a red sauce and it was delicious! We started with the chopped salad and added salami and cheese. It’s a nice addition. We then had the chicken dish and the pasta in red sauce with sundried tomatoes and a side of the burnt broccoli. So delicious! For dessert we had warm biscotti with a side of cannoli cream to dip them in. Again, delicious! Highly recommend it! Only problem is they don’t take reservations so there might be a bit of a wait.

Ok– let’s start from the top. I went to this restaurant about a year ago and loved it. Sadly, it seems to have taken a turn for the worse. First, the place is LOUD. I don’t remember it being that loud when I first went, but the restaurant was not full on that day. Second, the drinks are VERY expensive. Glasses of wine are much too pricey. Mixed drinks ditto, so don’t be surprised if you get some serious sticker shock from simply normal drinks. Just not worth it. The appetizer calamari were absolutely excellent. The shrimp marinara was good. The chicken francese was not good at all– it had some too hot(spicy) flavor. You can do better than this– Piccola Bussola in Syosset is a much better experience.

There are very few family friendly restaurants, that actually serve 5 star food. The linguini in white clam sauce is amazing and the special veal dish is out of this world. My kids love the special treat at the end of the meal — getting ice cream sundaes in the back. we have also been here for private parties or just a night out with the adults. Truly a great place.

The only reason I am giving this restaurant 2 stars is because the service was that good. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. The food was not good at all. I’ve heard such great things and was so excited to come here, and was severely disappointed. Maybe they were having an off night, or I didn’t order the right things. Nevertheless, I won’t come back here anytime soon.

Hungry? Good. This place is family style, just like Carmine’s in the city. The food is great and proof that you don’t need to be in the city to get great Italian. Chicken marsala was so good and unlike other places, they put a lot of marsala wine to make it extra tasty. The shrimp sautéed with spinach in tomato sauce was also excellent. The winner however was the pasta a la Chris, which with fresh pasta is the best pasta dish in the house. Great and convenient location and service is top notch. Highly recommended.

I had no time to take any pics because we were starving so I had no time for pictures, but my party of 6 really enjoyed nearly everything here! This place would have received a 5 star review, but their«ultimate chicken francese»(I think that’s what it was called) was SOOOSPICY! It tasted almost nothing like chicken francese at all. It was described as chicken francese with melted mozzarella and peppers, they didn’t mention that the peppers were incredibly spicy and would make the chicken taste like buffalo sauce and make you sweat with every bite!!! That was the only real negative about the meal. The restaurant is also incredibly loud and has numerous drunk women screaming their conversations because that is what drunk women do I guess? The star of the meal was the shrimp and spinach dish. I am not really a shrimp lover at all, but this dish was DELICIOUS! THESHRIMPANDSPINACHIS A MUSTGET!!! The penne a la vodka was very good and so was the chicken parm. The desserts were alright, the pineapple sorbet was very tasty. Family style Italian– we were 6 adults and had 4 large dishes and 3 desserts. We didn’t get to try the baked clams which smelled delicious and surprisingly the salad smelled great too, so I will be trying those on future visits.

Came here for a birthday and was not disappointed. It’s family style so you get to try different foods. The food was delicious too… chicken was super moist and the fish was perfectly cooked. We didn’t get calmari for appz but we should have because it looked ridiculously good.

It was Saturday night at 7:30 and we hadn’t made reservations to go out yet. We called around to a few places with everyone saying 9:00pm or later for a table until we called Chris & Tony’s. They just said come on in. Great. We arrived and they said it might be 10 minutes or so for a table so we decided to grab a drink. The bar area was loud, but it’s the bar so no problem there. I had two Jack and Cokes and my wife had a Cosmo, our bill was $ 38. A little pricey if you ask me. $ 12 for a Jack and Coke served in a rocks glass is maybe $ 2 -$ 4 too much. Our table was ready 15 – 20 minutes after we sat at the bar. We were seated and a few minutes later our waiter came over to take our drink order. My wife ordered another drink which arrived shortly. Wow, we thought the bar was loud, this place was so loud you can’t hear yourself think. About 10 minutes later the waiter came back to see if we were ready to order. We ordered a chicken dish and a pasta dish. Now the waiting game started. After about 20 minutes the waiter came over and said that«the pasta takes a long time to cook» and that our meal would be out shortly. Scenes from«My Cousin Vinny» flashed through my head. So your saying that while I can cook pasta in 12 minutes at home, are we to believe that boiling water cooks pasta slower in your kitchen. Perhaps the laws of physics cease to exist in their kitchen. I would have rather been told that they were really busy(which they were) and our food would be out shortly instead of spoken to like I’m some sort of idiot who has never boiled pasta in his life. 35 minutes later our food finally arrived. Was the food good, yes, it was good, not great but good. Honestly, I can get the same quality food for less money in a quieter restaurant at La Piazza in Plainview. And that place is basically a nice pizza joint. We ate, paid the check and vowed not to come back. There are plenty of other Italian places around with good food to come back here where everything is overpriced and the place is so loud you can’t enjoy your own conversation.

Returned for my Birthday Dinner with my family. We had rezzy for 6:30 on Sunday and our table was waiting for us. Although mobbed and loud, our service was terrific and very accomodating. For Appys we had Baked Clams and Caesar Salad with side of anchovies… both were great! We ate family style and ordered Chicken Parm, Veal Marsala and Baked Ziti w/ricotta. Everything was great and we enjoyed the ambiance. Of course they brought out dessert with flaming candle and sang Happy BD… Chris made sure we were well taken care of and we were appreciative and will for sure be returning soon!

Service: 5+ stars Food: 4.5 stars Décor/atmosphere: 4 stars Value: 3 stars Will I be back? Yes. Service: We went with a large group. Served by Scott. Absolutely fantastic service. too bad they slapped the automatic gratuity on the bill with no space for an add in on the cc receipt. he would have gotten more. Food: I’m not a connoisseur of italian food. But(almost everything) we had was absolutely phenomenal. The only exception would be the sausage in the chicken scarpariello(aka Chris & tony’s chicken). but I can’t knock them that much for that. The desserts were excellent, apps, even coffee. We ordered penne ala vodka, chicken scarpariello, salmon, ceasar, veal of some sort – it was all good. Décor: We had an early dinner due to children, so it was not bad in terms of loudness. However, by the time we left, it was quite loud. Layout was good – wasn’t too crowded or too close together. Value: The only knock – it’s a tad expensive. But food is good, service is good, so no problem. Will I be back? Yes.
