The owner is extremely volatile and rude. His wife does not pay attention to business at counter as she has to answer her husband immediately when he speaks to her during a transaction.

My go to convenience store since childhood. It seems to have changed hands, but it still has everything I need.

Quick and convenient. Great breakfast sandwiches. Some of the negative reviews make me laugh, it’s a bodega not a fine dining establishment. However, if you’re in a rush and want a pretty good egg sandwich(I recommend it with a hash brown on the roll) than this is your place.

i will sum it up in 3 words this place sucks But since Unilocal wants more than three words I will elaborate. Food express is dirty, the food is old and stale, the people are rude nasty and only care about money. Don’t let the one star I gave fool you Unilocal requires I add at least one star to write a review. Do yourself a favor drive 100 yards past it to Dunkin Donuts or Gabys

This had been my second time ordering from here. The staff is polite over the phone and the breakfast sandwiches are made just the way you ask them to make it!

Today I don’t know if I’m less fucked up or if the sandwich isn’t as good as usual. Can’t say I’m too disappointed though.

I’m not surprised to see the four and five star reviews coming from devout Unilocalers, and I have to agree with their thoughts. Food Express(AKA«Food-E») has been a staple on the northwest corner of Jericho Tpke and Jackson Ave/South Oyster Bay Road for as long as I can remember. While they’ve modernized the interior and added a new façade outside, service remains friendly and the sandwich station top-notch! You’ll also find a good selection of basic grocery items, beer and other cold beverages, and sundries, which, when coupled with Food-E’s prime location, makes this an attractive 24-hour stop in Syosset.

Stay away from this dirty, dusty, smelly«deli». The staff/owners are rude and disrespectful to the community, especially if you are a woman. If you have a mother, daughter, sister, or aunt think twice before supporting this business with your money. Go next door to dunkin donuts or the shopping center across the street for lottery tickets.

So easy to pass Food E by. Don’t do it! While it looks like a 7 – 11 from the outside it actually contains a pretty good deli section where you can get solid eggs, deli fare and specialty subs. It’s great as a pit stop before you go to the beach, on a boat or just need some bfast or lunch. If you are planning on going to the Subway across the street get over to Food E asap. Seriously, get out of that Subway and into the real meat they serve here. You will thank yourself after. Besides the deli section Food E has all the usual connivence store items like gum, chips, candy, beers, sodas, lottery, cigs etc. Tip: Open 24⁄7 for all your late night sammy needs

this is a convenience store no doubt, the usual bags of chips and lottery tickets. BUT don’t let that scare you into thinking this is not the place for a fresh egg sandwich. my son had been begging me to take him back… back as in one of his friends Dad took my son prior So Daniel says” Ma really the best breakfast sandwich“ and so it is eggs cheese on a roll perfect cooked. he likes his with some meat friendly grill guy and its worth the stop
