Owned by the same family that owns the Tully’s local chain, CopperTop boasts a well-stocked menu of American & global fare, plus weekday happy hour, in a TV-lined pub setting, started in 2007. Like its predecessor, CopperTop does everything pretty well, just in a different way. More of a pub themed restaurant, CopperTop is decorated with beautiful wood accents and a huge bar right in the middle. Their menu has twists on American favorites and American twists on global dishes as well. Their Pepperoni Chicken Pasta is my absolute favorite dish there. Cheesy deep fried zucchini is awesome and hugr. But I’ve never had a bad meal. Their portion sizes are huge. Service has never been bad. Prices are a buck or two more a meal than similar restaurants, but nothing too crazy expensive. I recommend it. Delicious dishes, good service.

CopperTop is a great hangout spot: lots of draft beer, extensive food menu, and excellent martinis. My favorite nights are Friday and Sunday. The bar is usually full but we always manage to find a spot eventually. Favorites: the margherita pizza(arguably the best in the Syracuse are), smoked wings, salads, and burgers. My main complaint is that they have«Italian» nachos and not traditional ones. I’ve heard more than one person complain about this and I was hoping the new menu would include traditional nachos, but unfortunately not. This is one of our go-to spots and I don’t see that changing anytime soon! :)

Hands down this place os awesome! There is nothing fancy about it but if you want good food, a variety of options in a comfy atmosphere go here! I have enjoyed everything from the fish tacos, lobster mac and cheese, soups, salads on the lighter side menu and even the flatbreads and pizzas. They offer indoor seating in a dim(really dark) but relaxing atmosphere. Family oriented(during day and early evening) but good for a nite out with friends as well. Great local spot. I have not been disappointed by anything i’ve ordered here… ever!

The menu is great. Portions are huge, staff is attentive, drinks are strong but don’t taste like alcohol. I recommend getting the beignets… they are delicious & so close to authenticity.

Absolutely horrible staff. The manager was very rude. I will never be back and won’t recommend this place to anyone.

We came in from out of town and we’re looking for a cool little spot to eat. We found one! Huge portions of delicious food. We ordered cheesy zucchini at a recommendation from our waitress and it was YUM I ordered fish tacos and it was more like a giant fish quesadilla. I would get it again. Good drink selection, fair places. If I am ever in the neighborhood, definitely worth a stop back.

Ask my dude White Bread for a Grateful Dead cocktail. Dude can make a mean drink. He also takes tips in Ramen Noodle packets. One of a kind bartender he is.

So, this is the second time my fiancée and I have eaten here. The first time was great(food, service and all.. . We hit up the happy hour menu for food(the flat bread and pizza were phenominal), we had a very attentive server even though we were the last couple to come in for the night. Tonight, we ordered carry out for their Pesto Chicken Sandwich, the Buffalo Wings, and the Grilled Jamaican Wings. They. Were. All. Amazing. Mine was the sandwich, and when I tell you I was in a pesto heaven, I mean I was in a PESTOHEAVEN!!! It was on the level of amazing as a pesto pasta I had at Pastabilities. Not only was the food great, but the server who gave us our food was really perky and cheerful, just the way I like my servers to be. 10⁄10 I will DEFINITELY be going back again and again. I know where I’m going for a great late night meal in Camillus.(^_^)

The food and the atmosphere were great. Just what myself and my co-worker needed after a hard day at work. The only complaint was the wait staff was a little slow and not as attentive as I would like but they were busy. I had the stuffed fish and it was fantastic, food was plentiful and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the Syracuse area. My co-worker had the steamed pot and was pleased but didn’t think the steam pot knocked it out of the park.

Have been here 2wice so far, as it’s kind of far off. But its always been amazing. Pros — there portions are huge. Each appetizer is good enough for 6 people. I love the margaritas. The service and the servers are really friendly. Top points for them. Cons — apart from the chicken riggies and the pasta with pork, i haven’t found anyone being particularly happy with their entrée. I seriously wish they would put some more effort on those, and then they get a 5star.

I am surely a repeat offender at Coppertop. However, I don’t stray far from my usual when I come here. I can tell you why… Well it’s because I come here for a specific reason and that reason is simple. PIZZA and BEIGNETS. Coppertop has a whole page in their menu of pizzas and speciality pizzas. I try to get a different kind each time I go. When I visited on Saturday night, I enjoyed the«Old World» pizza. It was very flavorful. The unique cheeses really stood out. I loved the ricotta and sausage flavors together. The crust is thin but still has a softness to it while maintaining a crunch. The pizzas are meant for one person but usually have a couple of slices left over, they’re a good size. I’ve tried the margarita and veggie pizzas as well both decent. For dessert I always get the beignets. Only place in Syracuse that I really know off that has them. Offered with two dipping sauces, you’ll leave covered in powered sugar. If they are too filling, you can warm them up for breakfast the next day and they’re still good. Coppertop has a unique array of food items while still remaining familiar for everyday food eaters. Good place to go when you want to find something for everyone. I think that’s why it does so well in Syracuse.

The french fries are perfect. I live 300 miles away and think of them often. Very thin and crunchy, but not too crunchy. Hard to eat a bunch at once because they are so thin, but I don’t really care how long it takes to finish the basket because it’s worth it.

These chicken tenders are literally the best thing on earth. It is if Jesus himself has crafted them in a workshop. They make Tully’s tenders taste similar to a rock. Also the Service here is outstanding and cheerful.

You can tell by the full parking lot we choose a good place to eat. The wait wasn’t as long as they said. There is a nice bar to wait though. The food was very good with large portions. Plenty of specials on top of the already large menu options. The pizza is excellent.

The service here is really consistent and I think it’s more than fair to up the stars based on consistently great service and really great bartenders. By the way. The bar isn’t bad either. Try a few Moscow Mules, or two.

This was our 2nd visit here. I wanted to be sure it wasn’t a fluke. Well, it’s not. Same friendly service. Nice quiet atmosphere despite TV screens. They have a really good cheapo lunch menu and a decent looking a la carte menu. I can’t say fine dining but for a decent and tasty reasonable lunch, it’s hard to beat. I tried the veggie sandwich. Portobello mushrooms, aubergines, cheese etc with a lot of very thin crispy fries, French style. Really good value. Give it a try. it’s worth a visit. So much better than Applebee’s et al.

My husband and I frequent Copper Top and have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh and delicious. The pizzas they make are far from typical and every one I try is amazing. It’s like a high quality family restaurant. The atmosphere is nice, I like the dim lighting.

First time visitor to Copper Top. I started out with the grilled Jamaican wings and I must say… they were excellent. Very flavorful, good size and perfectly cooked. I then had the french onion dip burger and it was good but not great. My biggest issue was that the burger was on the small side. At almost $ 10 for this burger, I expected it to be bigger. I washed it all down with a couple of Brooklyn Octoberfests and those were tasty. The service was very good. The hostess said nothing to us as we left the restaurant. This always strikes me as very odd. Your first and last impression rests with the host staff. Why aren’t these folks trained to «lather it on» for customers as they arrive and leave?!

After doing a little too much shopping the day after Thanksgiving, all I wanted was a Bloody Mary and spinach artichoke dip(it was a specific craving, I know!) and Copper Top was open for lunch that day. We sat at the bar and had a very friendly bartender. The spicy Blood Mary was deee-licious. The dip? Pretty amazing. The chips also arrived warm and crunchy. We stopped talking when it arrived and it was gone in no time flat. Hit the spot!
