From the initial walkthrough and quote to the move out of my apartment in Syracuse to the move into a house in the DC metro area, Delaney Moving was fantastic. The men who did the actual move were very careful with my stuff and fit it around some awfully tight corners. Seriously, these guys moved my upright piano down two staircases and around some very narrow corners (I lived in a third floor walkup). I’m still not entirely sure how they did it.
I also had them pack my stuff in Syracuse, and when I got to the DC area was delighted to discover that all of the boxes were very clearly marked so I knew what had to be unpacked first and what could wait.
Every single person at Delaney with whom I interacted during the process was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Even better, out of the three quotes I got, Delaney’s was the lowest. I would absolutely use them again.

I recently worked with Delany on a potential move from Syracuse to NYC. I say potential b/​c at the last minute, friends offered to do the move for me instead.
What I’d like to review is the great customer service I received from Dave at Delaney. He was quick to respond to my emails and always picked up the phone to respond to one of them before sending an email response.
I needed to try to shave some cost off my move and Dave worked with me to figure out a way to do so based on what I was moving and allowing me to have a flexible pick up and delivery date for less charge.
Delaney came in much lower than 2 other companies I used in Syracuse.
