Denny’s

Had the ham grilled cheese sandwich with egg in it for breakfast with hash browns. Both tasted quite good. Service was on the slower side.

The service was terrible, they did not explain to us how the grand slam worked and we got charged extra for it even though it was supposed to be free for my father’s birthday. On top of it all we asked for refills and waited at least 15 minutes before getting them, definitely not going back here.

Got takeout from Dennys tonight. The gentlemen on the phone that took my order was very nice. Our food arrived correctly. They really do a nice job with their takeout orders. Each item is packaged separately but within the same container. They didn’t forget silverware or condiments either! We had buffalo chicken tenders, a grand slam burger, and country fried steak with fries and sautéed zucchini and squash medley. The egg on the burger was cooked the way we ordered it. The buffalo tenders were excellent as always. The sautéed zucchini and squash were excellent. I’ve definitely had much much better country fried steak and gravy. The breading on the steak was not crisp and they gravy was pasty. It’s Dennys though so one doesn’t really expect a five star meal. I’ll definitely be ordering in the future when it’s late night and everything else is closed!

We started with a pretty good coffee, to us, that’s our engine to start our day so it has to be a good one. It surprised me that they served us a really good coffee, and my respond to that was, «Ok, they just made my heart happy, and I already love them for that!» Our food was amazing and moderate portions. I’m not a pancakes fan, unless they’re my Honduran banana pancakes, but omg, their fluffy and sweet pancakes were amazing! I stole one from my son and half from my hubby, my tummy was so full I couldn’t stop… I had turn into Ms Piggy. The waitress was nice and made sure we were happy with our food, always checking up on us. Great food.
