Used to eat here often but haven’t been in about 4 months just because I’ve been busy. Went to their Facebook page today and oyster dinner said $ 10.49, what I’ve been paying for about 4 years here. I was charged $ 12.99 and I told them the price on the Facebook page says $ 10.49. I told the cashier not to worry about it but he told the owner. The manager or owner, not sure(a woman) came out right away with money and apologized so sincerely for an old picture of the menu on the website that she isn’t sure how to delete. She gave me $ 2 which I tried to return because the food here is definitely worth the price. She wouldn’t take the two dollars and even asked me how to delete the old menu pic on the website — what a sweetheart! The food: as I said, I’ve been eating here for over 4 years as I live around the corner. It’s fantastic! I’ve had the scallops, fish and oyster dinners. Not crazy about the fried chicken as I prefer KFC, but my daughter likes it. Once had burnt oyster dinner so they were like rocks, but all the other 20 or so times I’ve eaten here have been fantastic! Sweet macaroni salad and coleslaw salad with pineapples in it. Extremely good — 10 rating good! My daughter loves the chicken sandwich they serve as a special during the week. I recommend you try Fish Cove Westvale — and hope you enjoy it like all the locals do!

Outstanding clam chowder! I’ve been multiple times, only ordered the chowder, and every time it’s clam city overload! The flavor is outstanding, they use lots of very fresh, sweet tasting clams and at $ 5 a quart the price is in line with what you’re getting. Highly recommended for their clam chowdah!

Great local spot for fish fry! This place is take-out only. I’ve had their fried haddock, fried shrimp and fries. All very delicious and fresh to order! I would of preferred the haddock to be skinless when fried but it was huge, bigger than my plate! The fried shrimp are large and meaty. The fries have a nice crispy beer-battered texture. They always have a line out the door and it moves pretty fast. On Fridays during Lent, they have a cop directing traffic in and out of their parking lot. If you like fried fish, this place is for you! I recommend eating your fried goodies shortly after you leave since it tastes the best hot!

Wonderful service. Great prices. Love their onion rings and cheese sticks. The drunk’n shrimp is delicious.

Soggy batter, overdone fish, incomplete order. Never again. I think almost any other restaurant will have tastier crispier and better cooked fish. I don’t understand why they do such good business.

I’m going to start off by saying this place needs a new website. I know. I know. I know. Who cares really? I do. It’s 2015, it needs to be mobile phone compatible. I got one of them mobily phones with a high IQ and I need to see your menu on it!(Not saying a word about it being a .net) I do give big ups for the pleasing graphics and logo. It has a Warhol potential with the pop art feel and I love it. Let’s get down to the food! We had the clam roll, which was very very good, and very fresh. There was virtually zero rubber bounce back to it as I’ve encountered with other fried clams. I’d get this again. The roll was huge and fresh and a great value at $ 5.99. Fish dinners were great, nice crispy breading and well prepared flakey white fish. I assume it’s Haddock. The menu says«fish». I personally loved the fries. True thick they came from the freezer but are crispy fries. The cabbage salad was average, macaroni salad was not very good. The seafood is the main attraction. The hubs got the fried Shrimp and declares he will get fish or clams next time, he wasn’t impressed with them. They looked like your standard size fried shrimp. If I wasn’t already inhaling a giant bowl of clam chowder I would have tried one. The chowder is great, truly authentic and FULL of black pepper. It was fresh, hot and cleared my sinuses. Ordering is a little challenging, the line wraps around the long narrow store and people are shoulder to shoulder, but I think we will be back again. The fish fry was good and everyone was happy. So you’re thinking, why not more than three stars? It doesn’t have that«pop» that makes me fall in love, but I am in solid like.

We stopped by today Friday, it was packed! It was our first tine and had no idea it was going to be so busy at dinner time. I went after clam chowder but it was all gone. I will be back next Wednesday to get some. My coworkers rave about it. Very organized. Back of the store you order by the pound. At the counter, the guy takes your order for everything else. They have many options on their menu. We ordered a clam roll. I love fried clams and it was so good. It was served on a hamburger bun with tartar sauce. Husband got the shrimp dinner with macaroni salad and fries. Everything was good! We will definitely be back for more.
