Hot Crouse Buns is adorable and really convenient. The woman who works there was incredibly helpful and gave me the scoop on all of their pastries. It’s mostly dessert-y things, but the signature Hot Crouse Buns could be for a sweet breakfast. They are so delicious and I’ve heard they’re even better heated up! Really great prices. They also have $ 1 mystery bags every so often with a few treats thrown in – I’ll definitely be grabbing those throughout next semester!

I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter who goes to SU. She absolutely loved it!

This hidden gem has delicious pastries and treats from bakeries across Syracuse. Everything I’ve had so far is delicious. The best part is the prices. $ 1.80 for a «hot crouse bun» which is the size of your head and literally melts in your mouth. They also have cakes(you can order them, but sometimes they have a few in store). I picked up a decent size cake for a birthday for only $ 15. As a college student, I can assure that this place is worth it on many levels. There is some seating inside as well. Not the best décor, but its all about the delicious hangover pastries that won’t hurt your wallet. P. S., the manager is a sweetheart!

They have an eclectic mix of pastries from different local bakeries. There’s a lot to choose from and you can ask them to call in special orders. The pastries I had were absolutely delectable, I definitely recommend stopping by:)

Just popped into Hot Crouse Buns, a brand new spot that sits on the SU Hill behind Faegan’s. I coudn’t bear the long line at Dunkin Donuts for a morning coffee, and found a colleague sitting at the counter, as well. In addition to the items they have in cases(best of the local bakeries around town), you can order bread a day ahead or cakes/cupcakes for special occasions. I had the thought that the cupcakes I made a special trip for my son’s school a few months ago could have been picked up really easily here!
