I had a well-​crafted, tasty chicken parm from here. Love the friendly atmosphere and good prices. I don’t know why but I expected a homemade chicken parm, though, not chicken fingers.

Friendly staff, solid sandwiches.
Nothing special here, but Mike’s makes good sandwiches quickly. Better than the more highly-​regarded place a few blocks down Burnet, as far as I’m concerned. Worth a stop for large, simple sandwiches.

Mike’s Deli is a great alternative to the more well known deli’s in Syracuse like the Brooklyn Pickle. It is easy to get to on Burnet Ave., offers both hot and cold sandwiches, and is very cheap.
The owner Mike is a nice guy and is usually there making the sandwiches himself. I highly recommend the wraps here — Grilled Buffalo Chicken is the best.
I’ve only ever been here for lunch — but it’s usually a very quick in and out, though they do have a small dining area if you wish to eat there.
