The only reason they got two stars from me is because they are clean and that’s partly because they are new. The food was not stocked. The staff was arguing behind the counter taking shady jabs in front of us. The meat that was done was *done* and burnt The rice was out and woukd be all day The vegetables were soggy and overdone It is extremely hard to get a poor review from me but I would not recommend this place until they hire new help or people who are at least passionate about the Chinese-American food experience. Le sigh…

Awesome for cheap Chinese food. The staff is really green but they’re trying. Love the food. Going back tonight.

Good was pretty good for a American Chinese place. Reason for 2 stars was that I ordered online and can at time it said to pick up food, turns out they didn’t bother to check to see if there were any online orders and it took them over half an hour to get my food. Also most of the workers were just taking the food and walking around doing nothing

The Cherng Family opened the first Panda Express in 1983 in Glendale, California. Today, they have locations that stretch from coast to coast and around the world. Panda Express is also committed to serving the communities in which they operate, launching Panda Cares, their philanthropic arm dedicated to providing food, funding and volunteer services to impoverished children and disaster relief effots. This new location has opened on W Genesee in the Fairmount area. They’re still brand new, so inside is bright and clean. One of my favorite things about Panda Express is their commitment to using fresh ingredients, evident by the fact that they have employees in their kitchen doing nothing but chopping veggies, and their fridge full of bins of fresh cut veggies in plain sight. Service is friendly and fast, surprising since they’re still brand new. They have three sized portions to choose from, a bowl, plate or bigger plate. Plenty of options to choose from for entrees and sides. Some entrees are considered premium and will cost extra. I always get their veggie spring rolls, which are awesome. Usually go for chow mein and any number of entrees. Sweet Fire Chicken and Beijing Beef are my favorites. Great chain to add to the CNY area.
