My sister and I went to Red Lobster today because we were both craving seafood. I did not want to go to a chain restaurant but after seeing they had King crab legs I was all in. It seems everywhere around only has snow crab legs. We were seated immediately. Our server was prompt and efficient throughout our entire dinner. The salads were pretty bad– the iceburg lettuce was yellow and some tinges of brown– no green; the red onions were sliced 1⁄3 of an inch thick. They should be paper thin. They could save a lot on onion cost right there lol! Surprisingly the blueberry vinegrette dressing was amazing! Not sweet — perfectly balanced& touch of zing. My crab legs(1 ½ pounds) were plentiful and delicious. She got 2 types of lobster tails– one cooked perfectly; the other overlooked but they fixed it quickly and the replacement lobster tail was perfect! The side dishes were also great. This Red Lobster is def better than past experiences at the chain.

This was the worst red lobster visit ever Was told there was a 25 – 30 minute wait even though the place was less than ¼ full. After taking forever to be waited on 2 of our sides were missing. Never did receive them.

Ehh. It is red lobster. This one being in the city has a police officer in case a crackhead tries to rob it.

At first I wasn’t considering coming to this RL because of the terrible reviews, but my boyfriend and I decided to come anyway. We’re celebrating our first anniversary together :) The place wasn’t that full, so we got a seat immediately. This was my first time at Red Lobster, so it was all new to me. But I thought the food was all delicious. Our waitress, Kelly, was really pleasant and genuinely cared if we were having a good time. Another lady brought out our entrees and asked my boyfriend to check his meat to see if it was to his taste before she left. I thought that was really considerate. We both left really full, with a to-go bag of biscuits. Overall, they cared for us well and we had a really relaxing evening. Thank you! :D

Foods always the same, decent, but the staff was terrible. There were only 2 – 3 other tables and still waited 10 minutes to order a drink, then after ordering a cocktail and water, didn’t get water for about 25 minutes, no exaggeration, then with appetizer no small plates, asked for small plates after about 4 – 5 minutes returned with one small plate, had to ask for the second one, another 3 – 4 minutes. They must keep supplies in the basement. Ordered salads before main course, salads took about 15 min to come out. The. Our meal had quite obviously been under the warmer for at least 15 – 20 minutes, dry and sauces dried to the plate. We arrived at 12:55 pm and did not leave until 2:35. Not to mention, ketchup, butter, things missing from the meal like sides. Such a headache thank god we weren’t in a hurry.

My wife and I received a gift card to Red Lobster and looked forward to a nice lunch. We have gone here in the past and always enjoyed it. It was News Years Eve about 1 pm when we went in. As we approached the hostess, she neither greeted us or even smiled… just an indifferent, bored«How many«. I thought it a little odd but oh well… fine. She got menus and started walking us into the dining area. The place was not crowded and as she brought us to a table near the middle of the floor, I asked her if we could have one of the empty booths. Here’s where things came unhinged! She let out a big huff and stormed over to a booth and practically threw the menus on the table and walked away! As she left, I said«Thank You» to which she said nothing and kept walking. As she walked away, she shouted to a waitress on the other side of the room, «I’m trying Cathy!» I have never been treated so rudely in my life! My wife and I are 62 years old and polite. We were just stunned and upset and left immediately. I am sorry that asking for a booth is so troublesome. This was probably the lowest point we’ve had in all our 38 years of dining together. I will never set foot in that place again.

I have gone to the one on route 31 and it was horrible. The staff was rude and the wait was terrible. Although we waited a bit at this one and our waiter never arrived, we were fortunate enough to get a waiter who was attentive to our needs. The patron behind us was not so lucky and complained repeatedly. I don’t know if the ghost waiter’s name was Ryan or Justin(i know no comparison) but he never showed up to our tables. Besides this our meals were good.

It had been a while since we’ve been to this location. It was our Anniversary & celebrating our son’s successful belt test. I noticed staff milling about, the phone in the waiting area was ringing & no one answering. When the hostess returned she yelled why didn’t anyone get that. My youngest son who is 10& autistic couldn’t understand why he didn’t get a kids menu. I had to go back to the hostess to get the menu. She was too busy talking on the phone to ask if I needed assistance. We waited several minutes before our waiter took out drink order. He was very good. He did a great job calming down my son & got him laughing. Actually the highlight of the dinner was the biscuits, salad & soup was delicious as always. However, I ordered the crab cakes, my husband ordered shrimp & steak. The broccoli was way under cooked, rice was microwaved & the crab barely Luke warm & was falling apart with no aioli. The steak had no flavor & chewy. The kids meals were OK. The snow crab was amazing. But the restaurant smelled of old fish. The men’s room was the ladies & vice versa. My 14&10 yr old sons nearly walked into the ladies room. The family bathroom was blocked by a bench. There was a sense of disorder and I noticed other patrons not enjoying what they were eating. Unless there is new management and improvements to the food. We will not return. We know this is Red Lobster and not Spago, but spending $ 115 for a family of 4. The meal was so not worth it. I gave 2 stars only because of the apps & snow crab being delicious.

Food was standard. Waiter was above average. The problem I had was with the host assigning guests with tables. There was a wait list. We signed in for 2. The guests behind us signed in for 2. Somehow the guests behind us got called to a table before us. Normally, this isn’t a big deal. Except for two things. 1) they were given the last booth. 2) the guests n the host were the same color, while we were not. In all 25 yrs I’ve been dining at various restaurants, wait lists are common, but this kind of thing has never happened to me, until tonight. Very disappointing. This event disturbed me extremely, and as the night went on, it kept disturbing me. Hence the two stars.

My mother and I stopped at this location before an appointment she had in the same general area. While I’m not generally a fan of chain restaurants like Red Lobster, we both enjoy seafood and she really wanted to go. From start to finish, the staff here is friendly and super hospitable. Our server, Kendall, was the real positive aspect of the dining experience and consistently made sure we were comfortable and had everything we wanted. The food, unsurprisingly, was typical of any chain restaurant. My mother’s breaded shrimp was pretty generic in taste. My crab bake was fine, though all but the smallest of the potatoes were undercooked… and the scallops seemed to be sliced horizontally/through the middle, which I assume is just to make the supply of them last longer. Honestly though, this restaurant just feels reeeeeeeally old. You’ll be fine if you’re just looking for a generic experience and want some seafood, but I’ve been too spoiled by my travels to Boston or other locations that are known for their seafood to really have any affinity for a Red Lobster that looks like nobody has paid even the slightest attention in the look of the place(the women’s bathroom, for example, is in complete disarray with black trash bag material covering one of the stalls from the ceiling to the floor… oh, and the flooring is ripped apart)…let alone considered updating it. TL;DR The hosting/serving staff is the saving grace of this place, and the reason I’m giving this experience 2 of 5 stars. That said, everything looks like it’s about ready to fall apart. Typical chain restaurant-style food. Wouldn’t recommend.

Having lived in New Orleans for 8 years and now Houston, I’ve grown beyond the ho-hum, chain flavour of Red Lobster. But alas my dad wanted to eat here, so here I found myself. I knew better than to risk eating anything other than fried seafood, which most seafood restaurants have mastered. Just season the meat and the batter well enough and don’t burn it, and it’ll be fine. I survived it, and now will return to my never eat at seafood chains plan.

Went the day before mothers day for lunch. A few large groups due to SU graduations but didnt have any wait time. Very nice relaxed atmosphere, and clean. Waitress Mellissa was very attentive and pleasant. Meals were all ordered correctly and again didnt wait long. Ordered something new. Creamy lobster mashed potatoes. Not a fan of mashed potatoes usually but they were awsome. Slightly chunky with nice seasoning then covered in a slightly zingy cream sauce filled with nice sized clumps of lobster claw meat. One member in my party had a snow crab that was slightly over cooked and dry. However still delicous. I would definately go again.

I love the interactive nutrition application on the Red Lobster site. I can choose a healthy low calorie dinner. This Red Lobster is older and it shows but the staff is friendly and hard working. Service was great, Shawn was very attentive and the food was delicious. I’ve never had a bad meal here.

Went here 2 nights ago and it was pretty good. The service was fine, although there was no one to seat us from the door and we had to ask. However after that the service was very good and so was the food. I’m not crazy about seafood but would go here again

We just got back and the food they gave my wife was so bad that I actually had to pull over on the way home so she could vomit. I also felt like I was going to myself after trying it. I got the admirals platter and it was fine. I don’t know what she got but it was the worst thing I have ever tasted. I have never complained in a restaurant before because if I get something I don’t like I just don’t get it the next time but this was different. Something was seriously wrong with what they gave us today. The waitress was very nice and so was the manager who refunded my money without question but I will never be able to bring myself to this place again because I will not forget this. Really Really Really bad…

The restaurant is nice and the setup is lovely. The food was amazing. But my problem is when a waitress asked me what I would like to drink and I kindly told her a Pina Colada and she wrote it down with alcohol and she didn’t even ask me for ID or anything and I’m not even 21. I don’t turn 21 for another two years

Service was great but I can’t say the same about the food aim used to seeing in other Red Lobsters. I was very disappointed after craving for Red Lobster menu in the northeast for several years. Thankfully biscuits were the same and saved the day for me. Cleanliness of the place is below average, too. I hope somebody addresses these issues.

Mainly 1 star because the urine smell was soooo bad we had sat down and couldn’t handle it. We decided not to order and just notify the waitress and manager. We left and went next door to tully’s. Will not come back. The manager was upset and talked with my wife asking if we wanted to move but it was the place in general that smelled.

All red lobsters offer the same menu, so when my girlfriend arrived here for dinner last night, we weren’t expecting much. As expected, it had the same décor and the same food. But what sets this Red Lobster apart from others is the exceptional service provided. Our server, Ryan was nothing less than excellent. He gave us suggestions for what to eat, made sure to check up on us regularly, and had a personable and likable personality. His service alone gives this place an additional star

I was very disappointed in this trip to Red Lobster. I hadn’t been to one since 2004, but was there for a family member’s birthday. The hostess was the rudest and the most unfriendly hostess I have ever come across in any restaurant. She could not even bring herself to smile, but instead just glare at you and ask how many people were in the party. She was miserable. The restaurant was dirty as well and the bathroom was missing a stall door. When we were seated, we ordered drinks. I ordered a Coke, but for the members at my table who ordered alcoholic beverages, they were all disappointed with them. They were either watered down or 99% juice/1% alcohol. No one was looking to get drunk, but if you are paying the price for an alcoholic beverage you should at least get the amount of alcohol you are paying for, right? The only reason this place got two stars is because the food was decent. I ordered the Shrimp Festival with the BBQ shrimp and the shrimp scampi. Everyone else at the table was satisfied with their meals. But all in all, the service was sub-par, the restaurant was dirty, and I will likely not be going back there in the near future.
