Lots of cheap processed crap yessir. Also a ton of «buy 5 for $ 20» type deals that are actually more expensive than if you purchase them separately. This place is clearly designed to get people to spend as much of their foodstamps as possible on over processed nonfood. I have literally never seen any one pay with cash there. They seem to have very high traffic and constantly have damaged package and sell by date markdown items. Their customer base is not spending«real» money so are unlikely to hit up the mark downs. If you shop smart for these items you can walk away with staples for less than 50% of big supermarkets. I cook every thing from scratch. They have raw ingredients like sugar flour rice beans etc. at a great price. Basics like eggs and milk are a few pennies less than the fancy supermarket. Overall this is not the place to do all your shopping. However it’s worth stopping regularly to hit the markdowns. And the produce… yeah their onions and potatoes are great. Otherwise forget it.

If you want a bunch of cheap processed crap, but don’t care what kind of cheap processed crap you buy, this is your place. And, don’t get me wrong, I’m not a snobby piece of shit that hates on all businesses that specialize in cheap processed crap. I also understand the value of a good deal, but this place doesn’t offer that. Judging them on their fresh food selection would be ridiculous, so I won’t even bother with that, I’ll just judge them on their specialty, the aforementioned cheap processed crap. They seem to buy up overstocks or something, so, like, even if you want a product that seems right up their alley, Kraft Mac and Cheese, they won’t carry that, but they will have Kraft Mac and Cheese Deluxe and Velveeta Shells n’ Broccoli or some shit, for like 20 cents less than the product you want would cost at a regular store. They also have a lot of off brands I’ve never seen before. They had two off-brand mac and cheese varieties. They carried Spaghetti-O’s, but inexplicably only the meatball kind, only in the enormous can, and not really that cheap. So, if you walk in there wanting anything in particular, you won’t find it, but if you walk in there saying«Please give me any kind of canned or boxed carbs, immediately» you will be satisfied. Anyway, if you’re poor enough to need this store, you should probably switch to rice and beans or something actually cheap instead of buying off-brand fish sticks, potato chips, and Pasta Roni to save like 15% over what you’d pay at a normal store. Oh, also, this store doesn’t give you grocery bags.
