Syracuse Cafe

Food was okay. Pretty standard diner fare. We had burgers and a tenderloin. The issue was the service. We came in and sat down and the server came out and the first words out of her mouth were that they had no oatmeal or poached eggs and that the grill was off so she was going to have to go back and announce that we had come in. We immediately offered to leave but she said we could stay. This was at 1:14 pm and they close at 1:30 pm. We ordered right away and food came out fast. Started eating and she came back quickly to clear the plates (before we were done) and then started vacuuming. We left at 1:35 pm so we ate that quickly with kids! It was really obvious they did not want us there. Also the employees were sitting at a table loudly talking about some of their frustrations with their doctor and using language not appropriate in front of kids. We definitely won’t be back and I wish we had just left without eating there.

Went there for breakfast. Way very fast, cheap, and yummy.

Very nice diner. We had lunch here today. I had French toast and an egg, and my wife had a taco salad, and we shared a homemade cobbler for dessert. Very good food, good service, good daily specials, nice people. We liked it.
