Warren’s Drive Inn

The service is always friendly but you better be prepared to wait. They live up to their motto of cooking to order and you will have to wait. I am usually taking an order to go, at the end of my work day, and tend to be impatient. At least they provide the daily paper to read while you wait.
The food is very good and they have a good variety. Their take on fries is one of my favorites. I like the turkey cranberry sandwich as well as the blue or mushroom burgers. Be sure to get the fry sauce to complete any meal.

Warrens use to have special fries that I have not seen anywhere else. Now they have greasy, fries that I can get at the bowling alley! At the bowling alley, they are not as expensive, not as greasy and more crisp! Warrens is good but not worth the prices. So sad. Nothing special about Warrens food anymore :(

Had my first breakfast experience at Warrens in Syracuse this morning (Jan 26, 2016). Service was fast and very friendly. Being able to sit down and look at the menu was a bonus. The food I ordered was a chicken fried steak with country sausage gravy. I also ordered a side order of bacon. The food was perfectly cooked and had excellent flavor. Bacon is a big deal to me and these guys do it right (thick sliced and chewy, not crumbly). Thank you Warrens, I’ll be back.

We’ve never been before but I can tell you, the customer service is unsurpassed! I had to take a shake off my order because the kid at the pumpkin patch shorted me $ 5. The woman working the front counter brought it to me anyways! She even gave my son a cone. The fried mushrooms were so so good! I ordered a turkey burger and it was delicious. Best end to a date with my three year old, EVER! I’ll be back. even if it is over an hour drive.

After spending 10 minutes in the drive thru with only two cars ahead of me, a miserable looking and sounding girl gave me my shake, which had melted all around the lid dripping down the cup. I had to ask for napkins as she did not consider providing them when she handed me the mess. The bag of onion rings were handed to me and I was wished a nice evening, but I did not have a straw for my shake or a straw for my daughters milk, so I had to ask for those as well before driving away. The onion rings were stuck together and fell apart so badly when picking them up that it was much more hassle than enjoyment. I don’t plan to return. The shake was good, but no better than I could make at home.

Tony, the new manager has made a huge difference. The quality of food is better and the service is excellent. This is our favorite breakfast spot on the weekends.

I’m guilty of horribly undervaluing this place and do not frequent them enough.
Be it the excellent table-​service breakfasts each morning or the uncommonly broad selection of options for lunch or dinner; there really is something for everyone here.
The staff are always courteous and attentive and orders (regardless of diversity) are fulfilled promptly.
You will not be disappointed.

There are times that I really love Warrens but their food is never consistent. I ordered the exact same burger on two separate visits and they did not taste the same at all. When their good, THEIR GOOD, but for some reason they miss the mark occasionally. If they could get the flavor and quality right every time then they would easily deserve five stars… until then I can only give three stars.

Ordered a Bleu Bacon burger, but it had no Bleu, and I paid $ 9 for a meal. Disappointing.

The food great and the service is friendly but I’ve gone to this restaurant like 10 times in the last 3 months and I’ve had my order messed up about 7 times. This locations is always super slow too.
I won’t stop coming here but I definitely have to check the order every time.

I love this place! Just had a mushroom and Swiss burger. With fries and large lemonade and a small snickers shake. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their shakes! The staff is really friendly and always happy to see you.
I can’t wait to go back!

Better than fast food, great menu. Best kids meals in town for $ 1.99. Try the burgers and turkey cranberry sandwich.

Warren;s is half way between fast food and a full service restaurant. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, have a wide variety of food cooked to order and it taste good. I am a carb-​aholic and Warren’s cures my urge. They have awesome fries, better than most, tater tots, English chips and Sweet potato fries. I go for the fries, the wife likes the sweet potato. Beyond the starches are the sandwiches, they have a wide variety, burgers and otherwise. My latest favorite is the french dip that is very tasty, they also have a cranberry turkey that hits the spot.
Burgers are good, my last visit included the 2×2 classic, a big tasty double cheese burger. Good but definitely not the best around but does beat all the fast food joints by far.

I had the double cheeseburger and fries. Patties were small and the burger was ok, Yes it was fresh but it was tasteless like the other fresh burgers I have eaten. fries were not bad. Another fast food fresh burger joint. The service was quick and friendly.

I came to Utah for my cousin’s wedding and the whole entire time they were talking about fry sauce. WTF is fry sauce?! Was it some sort of magical mixture of fairy dust and hallucinogens. Not exactly… basically it’s ketchup and mayo. The place we wanted, Crown, was closed so we ended up here at Warren’s. At that point my expectations were so high, anything less than heart stopping fried goodness was not going to suffice. If you’ve ever been to in-​n-​out, that’s pretty much the size of their burgers. Not monstrous, but proportioned correctly to feed your average american. The buns are stone ground bakery’s potato buns which gives it a nice touch. I had the pastrami burger and honestly that day, I could have had two. For the sides, I do recommend the english chips, lightly battered potatoee nom noms.

Great mix of fast food and a set down family restaurant. Service is great and the food us better than any FF place.
French dip and chicken cordon blue was outstanding… finish it up with funnel cake fries with your choice of syrups and you have great and enjoyable meal. Differently a family friendly place and a must eat in Syracuse.

Oh man. Let me just start with a list of things I LOVE about this place:
The french dip kicks so much ass. It has turned me into a french dip snob and I can’t have one at any other fast food place now.
The french fries are in the top 3 of best ever (suck it, McDonalds!)
The sweet potato fries are little swords of heaven
The funnel cake fries are sooooo good
Their onion rings are some of the best I’ve ever had
They have FREE (and good) fry sauce!
They have tons of items on the menu
The entire staff is SUPER nice
They have a small, yet adequate salad bar (which I haven’t tried, but it looks good)
Prices aren’t outrageous
The restaurant is always clean

You won’t be disappointed with anything at Warren’s. Everything they have is stellar and the prices rock.
