Margaret and her staff did an amazing job designing our wedding flowers. They were very knowledgeable and willing to help us figure out exactly what we wanted for our special day.

I originally went to Margaret s to talk to her about our center pieces, it seemed like we were bothering her by even being there. We had built garden boxes to use for our center pieces and wanted wild flowers. Well she wanted me to give her exact names of flowers I wanted. I am not a florist, I can name about 3 flowers ever, I wanted wild flowers, like the ones you would find behind her store. needless to say we went somewhere else to get the flowers. When we got up there for the wedding we were going to pick up cut flowers for the tables, well she doesn’t keep very many on hand. But we did get our corsages for our mom’s there. Again she just isn’t a friendly store owner, it seems like you are bothering her by not knowing exactly what you want! Isn’t it the florist job to be the creative one with the flowers, if I knew flowers and what to do with them I would have made them on my own. Just don’t go in and ask questions, know exactly what you want. Well the 3 corsages did come out great, very pretty, little purple wildflowers, simple, different and pretty just what we were looking for. However it was $ 64 for 3!!! I would say each one maybe had $ 3 worth of flowers, nothing fancy, no orchids or such.

When I first called Margaret to talk to her about getting/ordering bridal bouquet, she was super helpful. She understood what I was going for and made some great seasonal suggestions, quoted the prices for them, etc. She was great about calling me back and communicating with me in general and I felt like we were on the same page etc. My girlfriends picked it up the day of my wedding, and the flowers were wrapped in a simple plastic ring– sort of looked like scotch tape around the bundle of stems– and they were not preserved in any water(is that normal for a bridal bouquet??) and became wilted by the time I walked down the aisle a couple hours later. I felt like what I had requested was not what was delivered. Although she did order the flowers I requested and had them ready for pick up, they were not presented in the way we had discussed. I went back to see if we could get it fixed up and was very friendly and open about it, but that attitude wasn’t matched. Margaret’s customer service could use some work in this area. Ultimately we worked some magic with first-aid tape and the piece of ribbon she did give us upon our second visit and all was well. Some things just aren’t worth an argument– especially on a day you want to be joyful FYI– she doesn’t seem to keep many cut flowers on hand, so you may want to call ahead of time to order some or see what is available if you do decide try out her business. Otherwise I’ve heard great things about both the City Market and Safeway floral departments in that area.

Awful! Make a Wish for $ 43.69 + delivery charge and a scowl! Truly the worst, WILTED arrangement, WORST customer service. Mine was missing half of the shown flowers – mine were wilted mums, wilted lupen-like flowers and a few carnations – in a jar well over 20 yrs old – looked like Margaret had picked the mums from the street gardens after a frost and left them in plastic for 2 days before delivering 1.5 days LATE. BUYERBEWARE you will NOT get what you order!!! You will get lousy customer service and will over-pay and your client WILL be disappointed. NEVERAGAIN – Safeway will deliver fresh, inexpensive floral in the WInter Park area(I asked them today in person) and City Market further west.
