We have using ACES services on and off for the last four years. Our son is diagnosed ASD autism and this is why we seek ABA services through ACES. We have had both good and bad experiences with ACES. In general they are very much like other similar services that offer«behavioral» therapy services. It is tough to sum up our experience in a review of this nature but I will say that you may or not get a great therapist to work with your child. Every child is different and every therapist is different. I think the key to success is to find one that matches your child well and to not be afraid to voice your cares, concerns and opinions the supervisors and BCBAs. I feel that ABA consulting firms in generally realize that ASD and autism are popular, revenue generating disorders and that they have found a niche in providing services for families. Bottom line, ACES have been good for us, not great. I realize this is the fist review for this company, and as time goes on I will most likely update and revise my review. Take your time but not too much time. Your child’s success is the most important thing, just remember that. If things are not working for you, seek out more in life and what people have to offer. Do not settle on a therapy services just because they are the only ones offered in your area. and if they are, don’t be afraid to speak your mind and tell them what you are looking for, for your child. remember that they are working for you and not the other way around, you should never feel like you are privileged to have their services. They should feel privileged to be your client, and should treat you as such, always.
