My dogs were so clean and happy! This is the place to spoil your pets. Great service. Good communication. This is the best groomer in the area.

This is the worst grooming place and would not recommend you go here when i took my
Yorkie Terrier i made a appointment two day early. When it was time to go we went and the owner said she had to reschedule the appointment because she had to go somewhere she didn’t even call me to notify me. Don’t come here or you will have a bad experience here.

They always do a great job on shaving my Golden Retriever. She looks beautiful and is happy when I come to pick her up. That was not the case with previous groomers I tried here in Tacoma. Highly recommend the St Helens location.

Awesome place! I have a very anxious Shipoo, and they do such a wonderful job accommodating & getting his haircut perfectly and safely.

Now that Amanda was unjustly fired from this business by jackie, I will NEVER take Lacie here again. Amanda worked under terrible conditions (broken leaky sink, only professional groomer at Tacoma location, appts not entered on computer) and she worked very hard and loved the dogs. I would NEVER suggest going here EVER AGAIN!!!

I am so impressed by the grooming at this local small business! I own a business several doors down and have had my Border Collie groomed several times now. She actually comes and gets him and then returns him to me. He comes back smelling wonderful and he actually seems to glow he’s so clean. Another plus, he is happy when she takes him away and happy when he comes back (he’s an emotional dog)!
The owner is knowledgeable and professional and really cares about her clients. I would recommend her business over and over again.

Friendly greeting, fast service, and I got exactly what I asked for with little hassle even though it is not what people usually ask for. I would go back even though it is a little more than I usually pay! Thanks for a good job!

Made our first appointment and they assured us that they would be open. After making the considerable effort to show up there was only a closed sign.

Great place… I trust my dogs there, not like Petsmart where I have have several bad experiences.
The service is legit, groomer is welcoming and friendly, and the outcme… fabulous!
If you’re looking for a cheap cut or wash however, this is not the place. It’s not super expensive but not cheap either.
Nevertheless I will continues bringing my 4 legged children here because every time I come, the experience is worth the money to me.

Brought my two dogs and cat for a family day of beauty. Since moving my office to Tacoma, my furry kids don’t get into their regular groomers. Staff here was more than accommodating and gave me a great price. We shave everyone down, including cat. Their regular groomers, who pride themselves on shearing show dogs only, will leave a few razor trails which we just wait to grow out. Not a one trail or track on two dogs and a squirmy cat who was super matted by the time she got there. I’m so thankful to have found a groomer with patience, kindness and affordable prices.

My friend took our dog to get groomed. He left looking like the dog from the muppets and came back a totally different dog. He looks so handsome.

The first time I took my little guy to this groomer, I was promised a return call when he was finished. It took 5 hours for him to sit at the groomers before I had to call and check on him. Now my guy has had 2 different groomers in 8.5 years, the first moved away and the second I moved away. I have never seen my dog act so nervous as he has when visiting this place. When I walked it and sat in the waiting area, I thought to my self that what I was seeing was not as clean as I’d hope and made me wonder how clean the back area is where my dog gets groomed. My dog Unilocaled as if he got nicked by the clippers, but I know those things can happen and gave the benefit of the doubt to the groomer. In the spirit of second chances I took Murdoch back again because I was happy with the job they did on his haircut. I dropped him off this morning at 8:45 it’s now noon. I’m not sure why my dog has to be there all day, his last groomer would only have him for an hour, seems they have you drop off the dog and run around the back until they get to yours. Depending on what time they call me, this may be his last visit. I’m revising my post because I just picked up my little guy and he looks really great. I have to say that it appears a new groomer made all the difference this time it was — thank you Laurie.

I think it is very important for me to warn others over the inexcusable treatment of my cat. I am strictly speaking of the management and their lack of professionalism. I had an appointment for my cat at 10:00am and had dropped him off by 9:50am. I was specifically told that I would receive a phone call in two to three hours. It was 3:00pm and still no phone call. My father drove down to find out what was going on and was told that they hadn’t even started. We were told to come back. Yes, it was my mistake to consider keeping him there anyway but my father drove back home and decided to turn around and take him back. Mind you this was over 6 hours. The employee working there had the audacity to call our household blame me and my family. Putting the fault in our hands and complaining that they were over booked, that we gave them the ok to keep him there all day long and that we were late for the appointment.
First of all, you kept my cat locked up in a cage the entire time. You never had the decency and professionalism to call us and keep us informed. If you were so overbooked than you should have called us to take our cat back home. Not leave him in a cage with n food or water.
And if you were really overbooked or whatever the excuse was you do NOT treat any animal in this manner.
I have read the reviews of others. People be warned if this happened once it will most definitely happen again.
Stay away from this Place!

This place is the best. We have a dog with horrific skin issues. It’s a constant battle. Not only are they professional they know what they’re doing with her skin. Today the groomer noticed she had yeast in her under arm areas and instead of oatmeal shampoo, which she told me makes yeast worse, she bathed in a shampoo that is better for her skin. How many groomers would take the time to notice or care. They are great with our dogs and take the time to do a great job. Most importantly I have no fear of how our dogs get treated. I have had other groomers be rough and witnessed a groomer hit a dog at petco. I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else but bark bath

I’ve brought my dog here the last couple of times. The first time I brought her she had a lot of mats in her fur. Another groomer at a different salon told me we just had to shave her… My dog does not get shaved. She is a miniature labradoodle but we keep her hair long and fluffy like a mini sheep dog. I brought her in, and they got out about 80% of the mats. They told me that my dog couldn’t take anymore and they couldn’t do more today. But if I wanted to bring her back in a few days they could finish. First, I appreciate their effort to help my dogs coat. And second I appreciate that they didn’t torture my dog by finishing. I was more than willing to bring her back to avoid any discomfort to her. They do a great job and make sure your dog is comfortable. My dog play wells with others and every time I have come in to pick her up (even when I popped in and surprised them) my dog wasn’t in a crate. She was out playing with another dog and walking around. I love that they don’t just stick her in a crate the whole time. I feel comfortable dropping my dog off there and knowing she is being taken care of. The prices are better than the last place as I was going too!

I would highly recommend this wonderful place! Everytime I take my fur babies in they come back looking amazing! Not to mention the girls that work there are always very helpful and super sweet! They are very obviously animal lovers and it shows! I will only ever take my dogs here.

After an unsuccessful fight with our corgi to grind his nails, we decided it was time to take him in for professional grooming. After some research, my wife chose these guys, and it was a great choice! We dropped our little guy off for the works treatment: wash, dry, trim, and nails. Hours later (his fur takes it’s time drying), we got the call to pick him up.
Verdict: perfection! The dog looked fantastic and he was in great spirits (which, to me, means he was treated well). We left only vague «make him look good» instructions, and they did a great job on him. The price was on-​par with the larger pet stores, and I think he got better service. We will absolutely be back.

I was able to make a same day appointment for my Persian cat to be groomed. Amanda asked many questions to get a good feel for his personality. Because this was his first grooming, she suggested we ease him into it, rather than overwhelm him. Most groomers would encourage the most expensive, involved services (which is what I initially intended to do anyway), and I truly appreciate that Amanda took my cat’s personality into account and put his needs first (a rarity!)
Even though my boy was a massive pain, they were still able to get all his mats out, clip his nails and do a modified Lion’s Cut. Amazing! Very reasonably priced too. Also, she suggested that when making my next appt to request to bring my boy in first thing in the morning to avoid any noise. Super sweet! I highly recommend Bark, Bath & Beyond and will be bringing my pets to Amanda regularly.

This is a great grooming establishment. My shih tzu is 8 so I’ve been to a lot of them and I know how good and bad they can be. The first thing that I love about this place is they don’t take all day. I’ve had bad experiences with other places wanting my dog to be there for 6 – 8 hours before she’s done. BB and B has her in and out in 1 – 2 hours. They also listen to how I want her groomed and actually do it! With tip it’s $ 60 to get a dog groomed, this is an average price but in my opinion still expensive. So if I’m going to pay that amount I want it done the way I request it and it has been every time I take her here.
