Castle Megastore

First off, the store is huge and very clean! A very big selection of toys and DVD’s for everyone. The men’s apparel selection was a bit small which was the reason I went so that was a bit of a downer, but I did enjoy looking around and do intend to purchase some things later on. Johnathan was most helpful at finding things for my girlfriend, and went even further to help me find a few things for myself as well.

Never had a bad experience here! My boyfriend and I went today and we had the best help from Jonathan. He knew we weren’t looking to buy anything really, but he was super helpful and willing to take the time to show us everything. Great customer service and great products.

Castle Megastore in Tacoma is an absolute delight. In the olden days, if someone was interested in getting an adult toy or adult video, they faced going to some shady adult bookstore in a shady part of town.
Castle Megastore in Tacoma is the perfect antidote to that formally uncomfortable experience.
First of all, the place is huge, brightly lit, and so clean!
Products are well-​organized and many of them are tastefully informative. And the selection, ranging from personal lubricants, battery-​operated devises, amazing lingerie for all genders, to adult dvds is mind-​boggling.
But I have to say that what I think most sticks out upon visiting Castle Megastore is the excellent customer service. If you’re thinking you might feel weird about going to an adult novelty shop, the staff, male and female, will instantly put you at ease. The staff is pleasant, personable, professional, and you’ll find yourself feeling like your discussing a Prada shoe with the sales associate instead of a sex toy! It certainly is a place for customers to come as couples to explore the possibilities under the supportive personal guidance of the sales associate. The staff is consistently delightful, and if you’re lucky, you will get Emily to assist you in guiding you to find what products might be best for you.
I know there are other options out there, and I’ve checked them out. Castle Megastore is above and beyond the best!

This place is awesome and huge! Great selection of dvd’s. They were also very helpful. They had one tshirt left of the one my friend wanted to buy me and they let us take the display shirt. That was so great. Also picked up some dvd’s and lube. Great place!

I go here all the time and sometimes I’ll just hangout for hours. Although I’ve yet to get one of the employees to try on some lingerie it doesn’t mean there staff isnt professional. Also really really really really really good products there

My fiancé and I came in on New Year’s Day, not really knowing what we were there for. We were walking around looking at all the outfits, and then made our way to all the toys. After trying a handful of the toys, and scoffing at the $ 250 price, we made our way to the liberator products. We had been tossing around the idea of getting one for awhile. After spending about 10minutes in that area, an associate named Jenn came over to lend her expertise, and how useful it was. She started to tell us all about the product, and gave us her personal preferences, which really helped us make up our minds. We then asked her about some restraint systems, and she was more than helpful in that area as well. She ended up having to go on her break before we left, and actually sent one of her co-​workers over to check on us, for her, while she was still on her break. We ended up checking out with her co-​worker, because Jenn was still on her break. We made sure to tell the co-​worker to let Jenn how much we appreciated her help, and to tell her she did a great job. I hope our message gets to her.
We will definitely go back, and try to match schedules, so we get Jenn’s help again. But if not, the rest of the staff was very friendly too.

live close to the store, but I always order online at other stores instead of castle. I asked my self why I avoid the place, since its right there, went in today and remembered. They have the radio shack scam, gotta give a zip code, I gave one from cali I think, oh, and must show Id, they like to collect ifo and lie about what they do with it. And they can’t run debit with out scaning your id either, guess castle like radio shack, is doing poorly and they subsidize their company selling info the collect. But elsewhere, dont be an enabler to these info collecting crooks, Radio shack id slowly disappearing, their only incom stream is selling customer info, hope to see castle info collections go the same way. Anything they have is available online thruamazon or other companies

Good selection of toys and great selection of clothing items in all sizes. We were grossed out when an item we were interested in was sold out and they offered the floor model. We politely declined and a few hours later I’m still disgusted they offered that as an option. Just gross.
Also, crap selection of Burning Angel items.

We bought a «personal use toy» from castle. Medium price. Staff opened it and put batterys to show us it worked.” No returnd on personal items”. Got it home, opened it. Guess what? It stinks… I mean it really smells bad. Harsh chemical smell. .it stunk up the whole room. So back in the pack and a phone call to castle. no returns. No refunds period. I tried to explain no one would ever use something with that kind of smell. Sorry. «the cheaper ones tend to smell. .($ 50.00)it will go away after a while. Call the manufacturer.. you keep my money this time castle… ill keep mine from now on… oh wait… ill call my credit card company. at least ill get a laugh when I explain it to them…

HUGE store with reasonable prices, military discount, & really helpful employees. They also often have a lot of clearance items. And they have plus sized lingerie.

Good selection, helpful people, and best of all they provide a military discount.

The store is very bright, clean, airy. You’ll always see people your own age here (no matter what your age) and so far no one has looked ‘creepy’. Not much on the clothes offering, and the parking lot looks a bit depressing. Staff are approachable and knowledgeable.

When describing this store to friends I tend to label it, «The Walmart of sex toy stores». Aside from shopping on-​line, there are not many stores with as wide a variety as Castle.
My favorite thing about Castle is the employees. Every time I’ve been in there (3 times over 3 years) they were always kind, helpful, happy, and just overall good salespeople. They are not pushy, they are willing to help when you want it and leave you alone otherwise. They are happy to answer any questions about any of the products honestly. If they don’t like something, they will tell you and why, if you ask.
Another thing I enjoy is the lighting. It is well-​lit. I hate going to stores with terrible lighting because you can’t see what you are looking at! The lighting is bright and clean here, the store is open and easy to look around. It is set up very well.
The pricing varies, I have it ‘moderate’ because while some of their items are higher-​priced, they do have an amazing clearance variety.
As for lingerie, it has gotten better! I say browse the clothes because they have them for every size including plus (or Queen) size!

I think Castle has the widest selection of cheap sex toys in Tacoma. And most have unwrapped floor models, so you can see what your’re getting. There is a limited clothing selection here and they are not great on costumes, but they have more cute gift items than most siimilar stores and porn that is easy to browse. The clearance section often brings some fun ideas.

A trip to the Castle is lots of fun, and I don’t mean the burger joint!
Better selection than other local stores, and pricing is pretty competitive to as well. They have a great Military and Dancer discount, unfortunately I’m neither… Maybe I’ll have to take up stripping as a second job! LOL!
The staff is friendly without being overbearing most of the time, although be prepared to get approached. They seem to take it as their personal mission to get you what you need and/​or want, so as long as you’re not too shy it’s easy to get in and get out… Well unless you get stuck looking at all the fun stuff they have. Ya really gotta have some self-​restraint they have everything from novelty items, lubrication, lingerie, and condoms to toys, hardcore pornos, AND fetish gear… Don’t be too scared by that last one they’re very classy, have quite a few luxury lines, and even a full on display of Liberator equipment!
The only reasons I didn’t give 5 stars is that it is a little too bright to create the desired mood and that if you go in around midnight their registers are closed :(
