This place has the slowest service! Been waiting for an hour for salad and sandwich! Items that are already prepared should not take this long. Ordered another drink hoping that would tied me over but haven’t gotten that yet! I would not recommend this place. I guess I will have more to review once I get my food! Ok so 10 minutes later got my food. Before my additional drink mind you. French dip bottom of sandwich was soggy and salad came another 10 minutes later. Salad was not good. How do you mess up a Caesar salad? Smh. 4 people in my party and none of the food was as good as it could have been. Fun watching the pats sailing that The Ram, restaurant next door, was doing. Next Time we will wait in line at the Ram. I hope the food and Service will be better there. And no paper towels and the bathroom!!!

Fantastic location and decent pace of service. However, I had several issues with the overall experience. Firstly, a member of my party ordered salmon with«vegetables». They brought only asparagus… Normally a server would ask. When we did, she brought a hot side of broccolini that she charged us $ 4.50 for. Not that I care so much about the dollar amount, but the principle of the thing. We also saw a party that was seated after us, served before us. Not an unreasonable occurrence, but definitely annoying given the other issues with the visit. I would still go back, but really don’t think that the overall quality of the food or service warrant a glowing recommendation.

Food was great! I highly recommend the coconut prawns and ribeye! Also the Brussels sprouts were fabulous! You cannot beat the ambiance as well. Amazing view of the sound! Enjoy a romantic date here for sure!

We had our wedding here, rented out the top of the restaurant. The planning staff Brandi and Danielle were wonderful to work with the always were prompt to answer my questions and gave great suggestions along the way. The day of the wedding the staff was unbelievable. They went above and beyond if we ever needed anything. Very exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant of you have any special occasions!

This is a solid 3 stars. It gets points for location, view, drinks and service at the bar. The food left us wanting more. The bread was hot but needed more salt and flavor. The steak on my Cobb salad was cold and looked like maybe it had been old and slightly heated in microwave. The drinks though we’re amazing so well come back for happy hour and skip dinner!

I rarely write reviews, however this place warranted comment. While the setting is nice, as others have said it is overpriced. Upon finishing half of my steak and ½ of potato I asked for the rest to be boxed up to have for lunch next day. My server, Dwayne, boxed and walked away. I then noticed he only boxed my steak. He finally came back to table 15 minutes later to see if there was anything else. I told him I had wanted my potato and he did apologize and say«oh, I guess I could go in back and try to find another one». In general his service, while polite, was lacking in that he took forever to take my order, took quite a bit for food to come out, which someone else delivered to table, and then to box which was about 30 min after I was done eating. I will not visit here again.

Amazing view! Couldnt have asked for more out of my table today. Not sure if they were understaffed today or not but it felt like we waited a long time between seeing servers and when we would ask for extra stuff it took a long time for anyone to come back to us. The server we had was really nice though! Just wish we saw her a little more. My food was really good. I had the crab and shrimp panini and the iceberg wedge salad. Panini was SOOOOO good. My salad was lacking dressing, had to ask for more and I’m not sure what they put on their bacon but it made my salad SO sweet and sugary. I didn’t like that so much. Cod and chips was really good. Boyfriend approved, said that the batter was really lite and crispy. Could have used a bit more seasoning though.

Dinner for three tonight. Atmosphere, service and drinks were amazing. Try a Bloody Mary, it was fantastic. Unfortunately the food was 2 stars. We had the cod fish and chips which was way overcooked. My wife had the smoked salmon ravioli. The ravioli was slightly undercooked and the sauce tasted thick, warm and not fresh. It needed a creamy hot goodness but instead is was more of a warm paste. My son had the grilled cheese. I took a bite and the bread tasted stale. We were given bread while we waited(they were backed up and took us 45 minutes to receive food) and the bread tasted old as well. On a final note, we ordered an appetizer and it never came. Not a big deal as we were pretty full but we were looking forward to the clams.

Their Sunday brunch is the absolute best. The«theme» switches up every Sunday so it’s not always the same, but I’m not a huge breakfast fan so I typically go for the seafood. They have crab legs, shrimp, and oysters that I go crazy for. The only breakfast food I love are crepes and they flambé them right in front of you. They are to die for! The best combination is the raspberry and cottage cheese with chocolate syrup and whipped cream. You’re welcome.

Probably one of the best Sunday Brunch places in town. Every Sunday they host a different themed buffet brunch ranging from dim sum to Italian etc. there is also plenty seafood, a crêpe bar, waffle bar, make your own Bloody Mary’s with all the fixings. This is our go to place for special Sunday Brunch. Check it out, take your special lady or special guy or your parents they will love it especially the seafood! $ 3 mimosas and they keep them coming!

The views are nice but the food was just mediocre. The chairs in this place seem to sit pretty low. I overheard another table telling the waitress the same thing, and they offered a cushion to boost them up. Service is pretty good, well for the price it better be. But I think you mainly are paying for the nice view of the Ruston wy waterfront. I would try another place on the waterfront next time instead. We went on a Wed night so it wasnt busy at all, seemed like there were more people working there then dining. We ordered a few diffrent entres from jumbalya to fish and chips, and I had the pork shank which was ok. It was a little dry.

I ordered the Fish and Chips…“Fish” is key here, I got a HUGE piece of fish, the size of the plate! The fish was very good, firm, flavorful, lots of batter tho, perhaps too much. I almost went with a grilled fish option, i think i will try that next time as the fish itself was very good. The little Oreo Shooter desert is good too! The service was pretty good too, we were regularly checked on. I would return.

I didn’t have much interest in coming here in the past but then CI Shenanigans came up listed on a brewery list. I called to make sure that at least some of the beer that they had was beer of their own or at least exclusive to them if another brewery made it. Whoever I talked to on the phone said that a another brewery made their beer. I made a verbal confirmation if this beer was exclusive to them and the answer I got was«Yes». So we went here hoping to try a new brand of beer but we found out that their beer selection was the same beer selection as Ram next door. Don’t get me wrong. Ram beer is pretty good. Their Buttface Amber is really good and that is what I ordered however you can get the same exact beer at Ram! The food wasn’t bad at all. I got their fish tacos and they were pretty good and we had a good view of the water where we ate. Norma, our server was alright. A bit flat in service but prompt. She didn’t get our order right exactly though. There were two crème brûlée selections a vanilla kind and and orange kind. We asked for the vanilla kind. We got the orange kind. It was still pretty good and we didn’t complain because it just didn’t seem worth it and before we realized it was the orange one we got and not the vanilla the dessert was half gone anyway. Personally I like Ram better. It is not as overpriced, I like the view better, it’s brighter, the service seems better and I can still get the Buttface Amber.

After trying other restaurants in downtown with no luck for seating, our group decided to try the Tacoma waterfront CI Shenanigan’s. While they didn’t have a table for our large group they were happy to accommodate us in the bar and put together enough tables and chairs to seat us all quickly and comfortably plus have menus and water right away — excellent service that carried itself through the entire evening! The wine and spirits menu was impressive with good variety. I love the high end spirits options and chose the McCallan 18yr single malt scotch — neat — loved it. The food menu is filled with delicious options. I went with the Ahi Poke svechy and lobster quesidillas and both were tongue tangling tasty. Two in our group were vegan and found great food options they thought were yummy. Fun, festive, beautiful atmosphere, delicious all around.

Service, service, service– wow! Our dinner was excellent, too. I enjoyed the pan-seared scallops. We went here for our Christmas staff party. As a result of a miscommunication on my part, I’d accidentally made our dinner reservation for 11:00 a.m. For a group of EIGHTEEN, on a Saturday night in December. The CI Shenanigans staff really rallied and made our evening so nice. They set up a long table for us in the bar and got our drinks and food orders going right away, with no mistakes. I used to work in a restaurant and I know how tricky it is to get everything to a big party at the same time, but these guys made it look easy. When we asked for the check, Sarah even asked if we wanted separate checks.(Nope, just one.) A huge thank you to Sarah, Dave and Marvin for making our party fun and festive!

It’s been awhile since I’ve visited this restaurant. I went with a group for a Christmas party. I tried: Bruchetta: this was really tasty! I wish we ordered more. Crab and shrimp artichoke dip: it was a little too fishy for my likes. Jambalaya: too salty Potato fries: yummy, but why are they served with ketchup? Mango lemonade: Weak mango favor Pale Ale Beer: from the Ram. It went well with my jambalaya White chocolate pumpkin cheesecake: interesting combo and tasted good. Carrot cake: it was good but nothing special Mudslide: was picturing the one from the ram. Was a let down. The service was amazing. I’d love to go again to try the fish tacos and shrimp louis!

I really enjoy coming here for brunch and only brunch. They have my favorites which are snow crab, shrimp cocktail, oysters, clams, prime rib and oyster shooters. So for me, brunch is always amazing! But they also have more stuff there like eggs Benedict, a yogurt station, make your own omelette, make your own crêpe, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cArving meat station, salmon platter, Bloody Mary station, all different kinds of salads including fruit, and a desert station. I just love it here.

The view is the only reason to come here. But it’s just waterfront, nothing of significance to see. We came here for a Sunday Brunch($ 26) for a mediocre buffet — small crab legs, ok smoked salmon, and boiled shrimp. Holy crap, the amount of gravel I ate with the clams is going to be painful the next time I go to the dentist. We had reservations, and were placed next to a table with about 15 people, all drinking mimosas, practically shouting to make their stupidity heard. I cannot recommend this place, and will not be back.

Today I and 6 others went to CI Shenanigans to celebrate my colleague’s 30 years of service at our company and she chose this place because she loves it so much! It was my first time to this restaurant and to the area in general and I was very pleased with my experience! The restaurant was big and pretty empty for the lunch hour. We had a separate dining room for our small party to enjoy our food together in a private setting. For starters we had the bacon wrapped scallops which came on top of a rounded cornbread, steamed clams, and ahi poke. I’m from Hawaii so I was excited to try the poke and although it’s not what I’m use to, I thought it was really good! Especially with the sriracha and the ginger/soy sauce/mustard sauce it came with(I think that’s what it was anyway). I ordered the mahi mahi(seared) with green wand and the pieces of fish were a little small and I also realized then that I don’t care for mahi mahi haha. So I can’t really judge it as I think I don’t like that type of fish. My colleagues enjoyed their various dishes such as the Mac and cheese and the various sandwiches. Service was good here no matter who was helping us out. Parking was plentiful. And although the doors to the back deck were locked they let us go out and take a group picture! In the front they have a Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin game where you can win brunch for 2 but I forgot to play :( With the quality of good, service, and décor, I can say that I would definitely recommend this place for work lunches, off-sites, family meals, etc.
