Cycle Gear

I walked into the store around 6p last Friday, 6÷12÷2015. It looked like there were two employees in the store and two other customers. I looked around the store for about 10 minutes. I didn’t get greeted at all; not even eye contact. Overall it was a pretty unfriendly experience. I won’t be back.

This store is wonderful! I had a crazy busy work schedule, and had to do last minute shopping on Christmas Eve. Which happens to be my sons birthday. They had amazing prices, and great customer service. The employees were knowledgeable, and really helpful. They made it possible, to make my sons 7^th birthday really special.

I have to give major props to Cycle Gear. I got a Bilt waterproof jacket in December. I wore it through Winter, Spring and Summer. I had no issues. Last week it leaked at the inner elbows. Bilt stuff has a 5 yr warrantee. They exchanged it no problem. That is great service. Thanks!

My first time being here! Never thought I would be stopping by into this store but yay! I got myself my first motorcycle and of course I need some gear.
I grew up passing by the store sign on the Plaza sign and didn’t know what it was for! Trip down memory lane we go~!
Anyways, I kind of bought bits and pieces of the rest of my gear from different stores but what I really needed was gloves. I have been to about 2 – 3 different shops and they either don’t have the style I like or the size I need.
Now the Alpinestars Stella (white) carbon-​knuckled gloves were super perfect fit and matches the white theme I am going for but it is so pricy! Oh boy. It was around $ 80~ after I got it. I mean, you get what you pay for so I am sure it will keep me going in the long run.
The employees were friendly and as soon as I walked in, a person greeted me, I went towards the gloves aisle and someone was being assisted but stopped to ask me if I needed help finding anything.
Being a size X-​Small… Sizes are definitely harder to find. Sighs. The struggle is real.
Luckily! These were the last pair of WHITE X-SMALL’s that they had in stock. Lucky me~

I’ve been looking for a helmet and other motorcycle gear for a while so I can take my endorsement test. I decided to go to Cycle Gear since they were advertising a big sale for the 4^th of July. I walked in and was helped immediately. The staff was very friendly and helped me pick out a helmet, gloves, and a jacket that will meet my needs as a new motorcycle/​scooter rider. The store is jam packet with tons of gear, it looks like the major brand they carry is Bilt. There were more expierienced riders in the store and they seemed to have an ongoing relationship with the staff, which for me is a good sign of high quality customer service as well as repeat business.

Terrific staff and good prices. Unlike some other gear shops, the crew at Cycle Gear don’t care what you ride. They are very helpful. I’ve bought gear, parts, you name it. If they don’t have it, you’d probably need to order online. They have gone the extra mile for me more than once. Last time, a clerk spent 20 min digging through shipping boxes to find a sprocket I had ordered. He totally saved my road trip!

Stopped in here to look at helmets. I was looking at a new ICON helmet and they were listed as a dealer, so why not swing by. I quickly found out that they didn’t actually have any icon helmets on hand, but that they could order me one if I wanted one. Well, I’d like to try on a helmet before I spend $ 200 on one.
Other than that oddity, I spent about 15 minutes browsing the place. I literally haven’t been here in ten years and only remember it having riding gear. So I was kinda stoked to see that they had parts in here. They may have had it back then, I just can’t recall. This makes me happy as this stuff is becoming harder and harder to find as shops close up and people continue to shop online. I will be back in the future since I have three powersport options in my garage :)

Good selection of accessories and gear for any type of rider. Equally friendly staff regardless of if you are a hogger, jumper or crotch rocket enthusiast. Their sales are really cost savers especially on their store brand items.

I’ve shopped Cycle Gear many times because they carry all the good brands at a gauranteed low price. Plus they stand behind the products they sell. If you’re looking for something specific or have an issue with ANYTHING you’ve bought there, just ask for John or J, both are great guys (as is all their staff). My ONLY rub with Cycle Gear is that they no longer carry name brand products in the store. It’s all the store brand now; Bilt, Sedici, ect… That’s what keeps me from giving them a 5 star review.
