Great place to bring your car. They had it done earlier then expected and the work was done great. They washed our car for us. We looked around at a few other shops to get the best price. They were able to get us at a price we were comfortable with. Everyone was very nice. I would definitely recommend this place.

After my car accident, Darnell’s came to the rescue! Doug has been in the business 30+ years and it shows; his expertise, professionalism, and fairness helped me survive this unfortunate occurrence. My car looks better than before the accident! Should I ever need Auto Body help again for myself, friends, or family, Darnell’s will be my 1^st choice. Great job!!!

Darnell Auto Body shop is the best and they rock for the following reasons: 1) The most honest and most reasonable repair price. 2) My first experience 20 years ago and to this date has provided an outstanding customer service. My car looks like it never had any repair done and it is repaired to my 100% satisfaction. 3) I live in Lacey, WA and I still drive to Tacoma to get all my cars repair done at Darnell’s because of excellent service and friendly staff who shows caring by their action. As a new driver, I had an unfortunate encounter with a post in a parking garage and damaged the hood, bumper, and a couple of trim pieces on my car. On a coworker’s recommendation, I took the car to Darnell’s. After I expressed concern about the cost, Doug talked me through several options that ranged from basic (cheapest) to good-​as-​new (most expensive). I appreciated his honesty and the fact that he didn’t just try to sell me on the most expensive repair. I ended up going for a more extensive repair option and my car looks perfect – the repair isn’t visible at all.
The back end of my car was damaged recently in a minor fender-​bender, and I took the car back to Darnell’s for an insurance quote and later, repair. Once again, Doug and his team did an expert job and my car looks great. They also fixed a scratch on my side door for free!
I haven’t shopped around much to see how Darnell’s prices compare to other shops, but I’ve been so pleased with their work that I don’t want to. Plus, I believe strongly in supporting small local businesses whenever possible. I highly recommend the team at Darnell’s!

Had a fender bender? Need some door dings fixed? These guys are about as good as it gets. I’ve had my van in here twice for two different incidents. The repairs were so good I can’t tell where the damage is and I“ve looked hard. They even fixed some scratches I had on my rear bumper that wasn’t part of the original estimate for free. Doug takes great pride in his work and it shows. You have the right to get your car fixed where you want so don’t let your ins. company bs you into going to their «preferred» shop. At least get an estimate here. You will NOT be sorry. I hope I never see him again but chances are I will need auto body repair at some point and Darnell’s is where I will go. Thanks Doug!

Doug and the crew at Darnell’s went above and beyond to restore my Mercedes — twice! Both times, the final cost came in under the estimate, but the workmanship exceeded my expectations. I will recommend them to family and friends, knowing that they will be treated well.
