Pizza was awesome, the people are awesome, and the place is pretty awesome. I can’t wait to come back. That was the best pizza I’ve had in Tacoma. Our waiter suggested getting the ‘Chef Special’ rather than trying to pick out our toppings. So glad I did! I just mentioned what I didn’t want, and they made a delicious, dank pie that felt like it was made just for me. The bar was pretty rad, too. There’s different sections; the bar area with all the lava lamps, the pool table and jukebox area, an eating/drinking area with some dartboards and a view to the kitchen, and the room with a stage where they host an open mic. I loved all the elements from the Oakland bar and Top of Tacoma that were there, too. It gives the place a really friendly, familiar vibe. Also, there’s TONS of Teddy Haggarty art on display here. It’s fun to tour the whole bar and check ‘em all out. I really liked this place. I’m serious, I can’t wait to go back. I wish I lived closer.

Wow, what a great find. I haven’t tried the pizza yet but the options look pretty amazing. The ambiance and the friendly bartenders really make this place. I will definitely be back for more.

We did a bicycle pub crawl and ended up at this hidden gem. They were a bit overwhelmed with our group of 40 at first, but quickly came together to serve us. Good beers and Dave’s Dank Pies are perfect for a night of drinking.

Cozy neighborhood spot that is a great place to have a few pops before heading over to Cheney Stadium.

Cute little dive bar but when the heavy medal played on the jukebox is so loud that you can’t hear eachother talking when your sitting by the front door it might be a good indication for the bar tender to turn it down to a more comfortable level. The bartender with the bandana was not very friendly. We stepped outside to have a cigarette(my friend smokes cigars) and when a couple guys came in to drop off a bicycle,(seemed like maybe friends of owner) next thing I know the bartender comes out and tells us we cannot smoke weed by the front door. We explained to him that we were not smoking weed and that he is smoking a black and mild cigar. It was uncomfortable to be accused of something we did not do, although we were polite because we could see how make the smell of the cigar would make him think that. No big deal but ANAPOLOGYWOULDHAVEBEENAPPRECIATED! Drinks are over priced and pours are not strong. They have good pizza though but I’d rather spend my money where I am appreciated and respected.

One of the most underrated bars in T-town. Amazing selection of whiskeys/bourbons, gins, and specialty spirits. There is a great draft and bottle beer/cider selection as well. Recent nitro draft offerings have included stouts AND ciders! Nitro cold infused coffee as well. Wine selection is great as well-representation from WA all the way to S. America. The pizza! Oh the pizza-it’s absolutely amazing. Crust is a recipe that you can tell has been worried over for many variations-final product shows the greatness. Ingredients are fresh and delicious. Lots to do-billiards, darts, and dancing! If you think the kick ass music is too loud(which it is most definitely not) then please take your shuttle bus back to the manor. Guaranteed fun time here:)

The beer selection is good, the pizza is pretty good. However, a big detractor is how loud the jukebox is. Multiple people complained about how loud it was, especially for happy hour on a weekday. Kills the mood.

First, the venue is creative and has great potential for booking shows. Awesome pizza, personal service. Try the daily special! I enjoyed a pizza with raspberries, mandrin oranges, goat cheese, and Sri Ratcha. To delight my palate, fresh real parmigiano cheese slices, the kind that melt in your mouth, came in a dish on the side. I will definitely be going back!

Best pizza in town. Neighborhood bar with a great space. Pool table, dart boards, great micros and ciders. A bonus room for bands or DJ’s. Did I mention the pizza? It’s amazing. Hand tossed dough, homemade sauce. Fresh quality toppings. Bar is a work in progress and under new management. Every time I’ve gone in recently there is always something being worked on. It’s a transformation from a dive bar not even worth mentioning, to what could potentially be the best venue in town, not unlike the old Swiss before it turned into Jacks place.

So right off the bat, this is a bar — it’s not a «bistro-bar» like in the Proctor district or some such — it’s a cozy, clean, neighborhood BAR. There’s been a number of bars in this building over the last few decades, but I really think that Delia’s has dialed in the«right vibe» for the neighborhood. We stopped in tonight while waiting on a print order to finish at Office Depot, and were rather pleasantly surprised. The inside of the bar is being improved it would appear — no longer the dark cave it once was — it’s bright and seems a pretty happy place. Lava lamps abound, along with other interesting stuff to look at. There are a couple of pool tables in the adjacent space, which is nice because they don’t intrude on the actual bar space. They do have a fair number of beers on draft, and it looks like they’re likely going to be adding more. The choices aren’t bad at all — they even have Seattle Cider — kind of a rare find in this area. Not a flavor I really cared for but hopefully they will add some more SC flavors over time. Service was just what you’d expect in a neighborhood bar — cozy and friendly in every way. We were all ready to post the first review as a «4 star» — initially because the food choices were, well, a singular choice: Pizza — with 3 meat topping choices. That’s it. However… and it’s a BIG however… the pizza we ordered was beyond anything I’d ever expect to find in a neighborhood bar. We ordered the Basil Pesto sauce, with Canadian Bacon, black olives, and pepperoncinis — with light cheese. What we got had no business being served in a «neighborhood bar»! Light crispy hand-tossed crust, just the right amount of everything on top — it was WONDERFUL. The flavors were well blended, delicate — not too much of any ingredient — and what was there was«just right». We were expecting«bar food» but instead got a pretty darn gourmet pizza for $ 11.99. Not a lot of options for sure, but for such a simple menu of essentially one item… they pulled it off… in style. So — that pushed our review to a full five stars. Remember: This is a BAR! The 5-star rating reflects«how well this place pulls off what it really is» — don’t expect a «5-star snotty dining experience» — but you can fully expect a «5-star neighborhood friendly bar with great pizza» and a really friendly bartender(I regret not catching her name). We hope the food choices expand — and who knows? Maybe they will track for a broad menu of savory choices in a rich regional cuisine… but that might be sad, and ruin the«5-star Neighborhood Bar» experience. Hard to say… but they’re doing what they do right. Well worth the visit Dave & Anne
