Facetuned

This place is the worst. What started off as me getting an uppipe instal turned into me losing $ 800.00. As soon as the part was installed we began discussing the front mount intercooler that I was wanting to install. After a few minutes of talking he said he could get the part cheaper through his parts guy. I paid $ 800.00 up front (mistake) and patiently awaited the phone call for the part to come in. After two weeks he called, he ordered the wrong part and had to send it back. I of course, just thought we all make mistakes. After roughly four weeks of nothing (fb messages, emails, voicemails) I got tired of it and contacted a lawyer. The moment I called Tony the owner and told him legal action was about to happen he called back within minutes saying the part was there this whole time and that I should have called him about it. I was seemingly shocked but I set up a time to go there and get the part. I arrived at their shop and it was of course locked and closed. So then the phone calls continued and emails as well. I was documenting everything that happened in case I would have to take legal action. It started to become a constant thing of me going to their shop and it being closed and no one picking up the phone. A year later I sent another message and he finally answered saying it was my fault that I never came to get the part and that after 30 days of me not claiming it, it became their property. He said he would however still do the install and for me to come in on a Thursday. I went in Thursday and he was actually there. We talked for a while, measurements were made and said that he would be in the shop Saturday and that now the landline was directly connected to his personal cell phone. I of course called to make sure and Saturday it was. As I was driving I called several times and arrived at a closed shop. Several voicemails made and nothing. I sent fb messages that are read and no replies. I contacted paypal but they said the transaction number I had was invaild and they don’t have any record in their data base. I called the credit card company and they said I waited too long to dispute it and there’s nothing they can do. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and told them what happened. The owner even ignored them and they lowered their rating for the crap business. To this day Tony refuses to give me my money back and has resold the part to someone else already. This business likes to prey on people by saying they can order it for cheap, make you wait over 30 days then walk off with your money. This is a scam and this business needs to be avoided by everyone.

My experience here started out positive but became a pain in the a$$ real quick. I had them tune my car for a turbo and they honestly did a great job the only problem that came up was the vtec setting was wrong and they had it activating too late. After my suggestions to them it got done right. I purchased a few parts from them over the period of a couple months and noticed 90% of the time I would stop by their shop was closed and locked up and this is the middle of the week and the middle of the day and when they were open it seemed like they had their choose people they would attend to, I made a purchase there that I was told was the right part for my application and my car, when I finally got a chance to install the part I quickly found out in fact it was the wrong part here is where there credibility went to hell. I payed with PayPal and went to return the part, they took the part back and said I would see the money back in my paypal shortly. After stopping by and getting excuse after excuse and getting told to call before I stop by and getting my texts and calls ignored I started to realize I wasnt getting anything back I ended up having to open a claim with PayPal and got my money back that way as soon as I opened the claim I actually heard from them they told me to come get my money and please close the dispute. So I left to go get my money and texted that I was on my way to get it and was told I would have to close the dispute first (DONT EVER DO THIS) if you close a dispute with PayPal before you have a refund you loose and can’t reopen it clearly they knew this so for the tune I give them a star and for the short time they were helpful a second star but your money is better spent elsewhere people…
