Where to begin? I want everything I see on the shelves and I can get help to get started! They made this needlepointer into a knitter as well. Very kind and helpful staff.

As a beginning knitter/crocheter, this place made me so excited to learn more and play with fun, unique, gorgeous fibers. I’ve bought almost all of my(very small) stash from them. I do, of course, wish they were open more/different hours.

Hours: MWF1 – 6PM, Saturday 12 – 4 (or by appointment, if you can’t make it during those times) I’m posting the hours for my own sake, as well as others’, since it is hard to find them online. This is a great shop, and not as small as it first seems. There are weaving yarns on cones, fleece for spinning, fabric, and other surprises, not in the main room. Ask for what you’re looking for. While they have lots of gorgeous high-end yarns, they also have more utilitarian ones. Also, I’ve noticed that many items are not marked up when their prices go up elsewhere, which means the prices here can be lower. The button selection is incredible. Also, the tools.(Shuttles, etc.) Last, a sewing school has just opened in the building! Hooray! Two wonderful resources in one place.

Nice little store, parking along the street. Wall to floor to ceiling yarn. It seems to be organized by weight and fiber type. Far much better quality yarn than Michaels or some equivalent craft store. Only downside is the place is so small that it seems like an organized yarn hoarders paradise. I don’t mean it in a bad way, just trying to give you an image to prepare yourself to walk through narrow walkways with yarn potentially falling gently on your head. Like others said, hours are ishy, M/W/F/Sat. But if you call ahead the answering machine will tell you when they are open.

This shop is TINY, but true to other reviews I have seen, yarn is absolutely packed in there from floor to ceiling. From the little bit I saw, there is a wide variety of things on hand, but maybe not a huge stock of any one thing. I was there for roving, and the proprietress had some beautiful hand painted Leicester on hand, as well as some solids, in both natural and acrylic. I will definitely visit this shop again. As June 2012, the hours I was told are M-W-F 1p-6p and Saturdays 12 – 4. I would definitely call before you head over, just to double check.

I love this tiny yarn store. Don’t let the small size fool you — they have a strong selection of well organized yarn and a very good array of needles and other supplies. Welcoming and knowledgeable staff. I’d give this shop 5 stars if it was open more hours(and if the hours were posted). And while it’s not a problem for me, if you’re claustrophobic you’ll struggle with the narrow aisles.
